Our trip has officially begun and we've connected with our traveling companions in the Calgary area. Unfortunately Dee & Kathy had a mechanical problem and couldn't join us at our first stop in Cochrane, just north of Calgary. However, their repairs will be completed today and they will catch up to us in Banff where we plan to spend a few days seeing the beautiful sights in that area. Tuesday, the day we arrived, most of the group had a nice get together for happy hour at the park. Ken and I stopped in for a quick glass of wine and to chat awhile and then went to spend the evening at the home of Roy & Myrna Allen, some friends who spend the winter at Buckhorn.
