So its been a little while seen i have been onto my blog, but since then i have had unexpected bill's arrising and i have now moved from Stretford to Sale in Manchester. I am now in a really cool house share, as the place is great and i share with some good peeps. So i went into Trailfinders today with the sole objective of putting a deposit down and booking my RTW ticket, but because of the whole airline industry thing of releasing flights only upto 330 days before hand,Meant it wasn't feasible.basically up until today i had shopped round and most agents quoted the same price and i had heard good things about trailfinders and i knew it was the Oneworld ticket i wanted. So today was another fun packed adventure as a deskjockey or another way to put it an office monkey.......as i get paid peanuts....lol So i got working out how much longer i need to work at the office.........cause everyday gets worse....i really did not think it was possible to hate a job so much.......lol So i worked out that if i budget and have no life for what seems eternity......then i can finish being the glorified department gopher in November and i can leave the office behind and say hello world:) Ive been getting more inspiration and last night i was reading up on Nepal and it sounds amazing and the thought of seeing the Himalayas and seeing Bengal tigers. Was getting more quotes today for my RTW ticket, my sister and Nephew are off to Canada to live on Saturday........so i will miss them like crazy and the thought of having to work till the end of the year is a grind. I just want to go on my trip now, my friend Christine in NZ has told me i should be able to work their ok and should be able to afford to stay out there for a while.... as my plan is to do my RTW and then work in NZ for 18 months. Filling out forms to get a nationwide bank account, as you can get fee free withdrawals aboard with a nationwide account. So i have enough money for my ticket, insurance and some bits an pieces.........but i need to save for my spending money on my RTW trip..........which is a real pain cause my job just gets worse by the day and i just want to leave now. I suppose most people are the same and i will just have to buckle down and aim for the long haul or the whole 9 yards etc... Im wondering if its best to get my lonely planet guides now............some people have said to get the guides on the way and well i don't want to kill myself with loads of books....just wonder how easy it will be to get the shoe string books in English in the places im off to.
