Just recently started receiving your blog. I,m so glad things are working out so well with you. It truly sound amazing. Did Garth like the dime? David is heading home for 4 days - just helping someone drive. He should be back in a week, this guy just had to check on something at home but he has had a recent health problem so David volunteered to go with him to help with driving. David says he started scraping boat bottoms when he was 12 or 13 but he got 50 cents an hour. Waiting for your next blog. Penny
Port Townsend - little town, big views. I just came across your blog by chance. Only yesterday I had recommended Port Townsend as a "must go" to some friends. We enjoyed the entire Olympic Peninsula, but this town was one of our favorite stops on our 6 month trip! Thanks for the memory.
So good to finally hear from you. Your trip sounds like 'a trip of a lifetime'. I don't know if I am replying to you or to the depths of the computer. I will try to figure it out . Penny
I got it I am in Washington , picking up a friend at Bainbridge island and we are going to Port Townsend to look at boats then I will go to Vancouver island for 4-6 weeks. Will see you in May. Hope all is well with you and DAVE.
Hey Mike ..Good to hear that you are still in a positive travel mode..
Sounds strange going to look at boats...We have had temperatures all over the map...-30's the other day..+ 10 yesterday etc...Skiing had been good at times...
I'm heading to BC t(Grand Forks) o see my old friend Blair.in a couple of days..then shortly after my return ..Columbia!
Must admit to be being a little (lot) apprehensive..
Then when I return back to the house...sort of been at a standstill since you left (gulp)
Safe travels...and if you decide to voyage across the ocean in your new sailboat (??????) I could be persuaded to lay down my paintbrush..
Ciao

Sounds like a beautiful place I started reading your blog to Lukus and he guessed in the first half a sentence who I was reading about :) sounds like you are having a wonderful time; Utah sounds beautiful. Would love to go there sometime and see it!! Keep writing!!
Should have stayed a few extra days..We went hiking today up Prairie Mt. winds were 110.kmh on top ..really screaming..but pretty neat..You would have loved it..Trust you made it to a warmer place by now.
Alberta, my home.. Wow, looks like you have been having a grand time. Having grown up in Alberta, I am a little nostalgic as you write about your time there. I spent many a summer in the rocky's, especially the Banff area. Hope you are out running the cold weather, it is descending here slowly but surely. Enjoy your adventures and keep writing!!
none Loved the turtles picture. The other other two didn't come through. We've been to Little Current.
