VERY envious
At Katherine, I hiked up through the gorges and swam back down to camp ground jetty (getting windy as the sun was setting). It may have been made easier because water levels were low that year (clambered over rocks between gorges). It was a great experience - particularly watching those Johnson crocs slipping into the water (I swam with my sneakers on!). The ranger came out in his tinny as I was rounding the last bend and I asked if there were many crocs 'we tagged 200 just in this one last year'. Didn't swim at Fitzroy Crossing HUGE salty sitting on a nest - great dairy farm near the crossing that sells milk shakes!!

Snoring
The ear plugs were for Suz but we guess if the kids need them more - then why not!

Earplugs
Ffs Mick, at the next town pop into the sports shop and get yourself a pair of earplugs that you might use in a pool. The best thing ever and have gotten me through adult sons late night training sessions as well as smoothie making!

Great work mick the beast looks suitably prepared, cleane and freaking awesome! Bet Team Peterson are bloody excited for the adventure, look forward to following along online and when your able we will have to hook up a Skype call. Are you able to plot on a map where you're planning on heading or not? Would be cool to see what's in store!!
