Darjeeling places to visit You have Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Shrubbery Park, Darjeeling Botanical Gardens, Darjeeling Tea Gardens, Darjeeling Monasteries, Batasia Loop, Tiger Hill if you ever plan to stay at Darjeeling. The Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park established in 1958 was found for conserving the Himalayan rare wildlife species. The Siberian tigers, red pandas, black bears, wolves are found here. Also the snow Leopard Breeding centre is established to save the vanishing rare species. The darjeeling zoo has to be seen and to be believed. It is so much in the natural habitat, almost a jungle in itself, maintained so neat.

Excellent report Sounds like you're all having a great time. Love the write-ups and the photos. If science doesn't work out for you long term, you could always go into the tourist industry. Best of luck for the rest of the holiday.
Wow, I LOVED your incredible photos and post from Thailand!!! They reminded me of my own time there and how much I loved it. I also really admire that you're starting your son off traveling at such a young age! My blog is looking for travel photos, reviews, etc, to share with our readers across the world. Your photos are truly amazing and if you'd like to post any on our community blog, I know that our readers would be in awe of them, and we would greatly appreciate it! If you have the time, check out our blog at dirty-hippies.blogspot.com, or email us at dirtyhippiesblog@gmail.com. Continued fun on your travels and keep up the great posting!

Glad you made it safely! Hi guys...glad you made it to Bangkok safely. Ice cream is definitely the way forward in this heat, Nate has the right idea! Enjoy Koh Chang and we hope the weather holds out for you...prices a bit of a shocker but I'm sure we'll see this ourselves when we get to Thailand this week - as you say the exchange rate doesn't help! Have fun and enjoy your family holiday Donna and Neil x
First of all, one of the most informative travel blogs if not the most informative on this site. Second, that photo of the green turtle is probably the best underwater photo I have seen on this site. Just gorgeous. I have not looked ahead as I don't want to ruin the location surprises ahead. Thanks for going to western Australia. Most people don't and I have always wondered what it is like and if it is worth it. Definitely worth it for the landscapes alone.
great pics just saw your last comment on the panorama forum we have been discussing so thought i'd take a look a t a few of your blogs! great pictures. we are off to yosemite this summer and can't wait. have been before but this time around will hope to get some shots like yours. hopefully travelblog will introduce a panorama rating feature as they tend to be the best shots!
true cost of buying a camper Hi your review was great and to the piont, and very srait forward. the only thing is that you said you sold it back cheap, when you only lost 600$ ....I thought if I had to do it I need to loose more then half?
Loved This Entry Having lived in California all my life it was great to read your blog and get the traveler's perspective. I am so glad you had a wonderful time and you were treated well by all of us you encountered. Happy Travels!
So... It's been six years since we got back from our big family travels. A lot can happen in six years and the kids are growing at a pace that's completely overwhelming.
We have 'settled' back into life in the UK, which for all its problems is an amazing country and we love it here. We've got back on track with our careers and the kids are progressing well with their schooling.
As for travel, thankfully we still haven't stopped. Over the last few years we've been to a few more places in Europe, spent many weeks in Thailand and Malaysia, celebrated our 10 yea... full info
