Matt and Marias Trip

"NOOO!!! Are we going to make it to Ireland???" That was our thought when we heard that a volcano in Iceland had started erupting on May 21st, 3 days before we where flying out. Luckily on the day before our flight and the day of, our flight said ON TIME. We arrived to the airport about 2 and half hours early. Everythings still all good. We check our 1 bag. Yes Brittany, I condensed into just my backpacking pack!! Be Proud:) Then we started heading to our gate. Its kinda weird at Schipol Airport. You don't go through security till you get to your gate. We will be leaving for Ireland tomorrow!! We have spent 4 wonderful days here and had a blast. On Friday the 20th, Matt and I made our first trek into Amsterdam. We planned to wake up at about 830 or 9 but ended up sleeping in til 1030:( SO our day started a little later then we wanted. We caught the bus then the train then we arrived at Amsterdam Central!! We spent most of the day just exploring the city. Walking all over, not toward any particular stop just absorbing all we could. We took a canal boat tour, but thought it was boring:( They just had a recording playing telling us about the sites. Sooo yesterday when we checked our flight information it said our plane was coming at 3:30 instead of 4:30 which was the scheduled time. Matt was not doing very well this morning so I was kinda all over the place trying to get last minute stuff together by myself. We wanted to say bye to Brenda and Brittany before we left so we were rushing to make it to them on time. Brittany was suppose to leave for school at 11am this morning so at about 10:53 we ran out of the house and got going. When we pulled up to Brittanys, Brenda was already walking to her car.
