In the morning I met Tijl, we rented mountain bikes for the day and set off for Big Banyan tree park, a park with, you guessed it, a Big Banyan Tree which dates from around 4000 years ago, next we went to Moon hill, a famous hill in the area with a crescent shape missing from the peak. We walked the several hundred steps to the top where we enjoyed a breath of air and the view from the top before doubling back a little and cycling along the banks of the Yulong river stopping occasionally to take in the breathtaking views. The last stop of the day was the scenic Shangri-La (the other one). By the time we returned the bikes we had covered 50km, this should have made me tired for the sleeper bus
