Descending into Siem Reap’s International Airport it was incredible to see such diminutive villages floating on water and makeshift houses tucked in between rice fields and flowing cannels. As I stepped off the plane I felt the humidity instantly as I walked across the tarmac towards the customs hall, patiently standing in line for my visa to be processed I eventually made it through without any drama’s where I joined the fifteen other individuals who I travelled with from Melbourne, all participating in Victoria University’s Field Research Project - Experience Cambodia. After collecting all our luggage we made our way to the prearrange transfer bus, in between leaving the arrivals hall and walking the 30 metres to the bus I received at least half a dozen offers by tuk tuk driver’s asking “You want tuk tuk?”,
