They say that travelling broadens the mind, and rightfully so; exploring the world on your own, jumping from place to place, experiencing a range of cultures, new foods, different ways of life, and meeting new people every day. But its one thing in particular that never fails to astound me while on the road, and that’s the connection that we have with a place. A new place that we have never been before or sometimes not even heard of, but instantly it wows us and we are simply hooked. Home is home, hate it or love it. Some people never want to venture elsewhere, while others would do anything to take a break, even if it’s just for a few days.
