You're welcome. We weren't supposed to stop at all in Wales, but since our tour guide was Welsh, he felt obligated to stop so we can enjoy ALL of Great Britain! I loved visiting Conwy.

I did go inside, but at that time it was being used for some event and no cameras were allowed. It was pretty inside.

Actually I couldnt reach the stone with my lips, so I licked it!! LOL! The crowds were thin also when I went up do to the rain shower that was occuring that day.

This is one area we tried to visit but due to the biggest snow storm in over 50 years to hit Ireland, the day before, the road to the park was closed due to snow drifts :(Glad one of us got to see it, Thanks for the pics.

We saw it up close and it's laser engraved all around the base. It's actually called Millennium Spire, but also known locally as "the Spike"...lol

that's the church and street outside where Jennifer and I spent New Year's Eve celebrating with thousands of Irish...just like they do in Times Square in New York.

hey....we stopped at that yellow building and got a deli sandwich in it's bottom floor market and walked around this same waterfront area before heading to Cork.

I loved the downtown area of Cork. We got to see the house where Jennifer's great grandfather O'Mahoney was born in the old section of the city, near St. Patrick's Church.

I wonder if you kissed the same spot on the Blarney Stone that I kissed...lol. We saw the castle grounds during an icy winter day. We were the last tourists allowed in the castle for the day due to the dangerous icy steps to climb. Seeing i
t all was still cool...no pun intended...lol

so jealous...another area I wanted to see but didn't have time, Legend says the Giant's Causeway is a bridge "built" between Ireland and Scotland by the folklore legend Finn McCool...sort of of like Paul Bunyan in the US.

Plymouth is where the Mayflower sailed from when it carried the pilgrims to america. So there is a monument to those first Americans. Hence an American flag is flown at the monument.
