hey Virginia, Glad you like the pics, some are adjusted with the computer to them closer to how I remember them, compensating for the cameras shortcomings. We are flying into the gold coast but that was more to do with the cheap flights. I am actually looking for work around Yeppoon so that Alex and Naomi can be near the family. Alex has 2 cousins up there his age so it would be good for him especially. But if I cannot get something up there I might be taking locum work anywhere, so who knows.

That's a tricky one Dave. The Phi Phi's certainly are amazing, with great scenery, huge hongs, good snorkelling and plenty of restaurants if you want them but all this good stuff attracts tourists and makes them busy and therefore spoils our perspective of the place. I guess this follows the same theme of The Beach where the quest seems to be to find somewhere magnificent and yet undiscovered... we are still searching. Luke
