Spitting Your comments about spitting in public brought back memories of when I lived in Shantou China. Every morning at precisely 6:30 AM my alarm clock went off. My "alarm clock" was my neighbour horking and snorting and spitting in the street. After listening to him for at least 5 minutes, I felt so repulsed that I wanted to do the exact same thing. The strange thing is that nobody seemed to care except me!!

I am really feeling sorry for my friend Simon now. I wonder what the kids say behind his back?;)

It's time to start the next phase of my blog. My wife Suzanne and I are no longer overseas residents, but we are NOT settled into Canada by any stretch of the imagination. Sometimes I will write about my home (after all many of my readers are overseas). I also need to update my picture and my nom de plume.
