Good Morning Vietnam!

Lottie will soon be let loose again and heading off to Vietnam. As I've heard that two thirds of the population are aged 35 and under I'm expecting to feel pretty old!

I have a semi-blank Vietnam canvas waiting to be filled with experiences, sights, sounds, tastes, people and information that will come my way. My only prior knowledge of Vietnam is a strange mix gathered from watching MASH as a child, seeing the idiots on Top Gear trashing around the country on mopeds acting like the twats they are, and of course from the terrible stories and films of the war. Fortunately I've also talked to quite a few people who have visited the country and ALL, without exception, have enthused about how wonderfully scenic, how friendly, how inspiring Vietnam is and have urged me to 'Just go, you will love it!'

So here's to my Vietnam canvas being filled with richness and colour. Buổi sáng Việt Nam!
