Storks?
Lorraine and Edwin, I didn't know storks were real. In America we tell children that storks are where babies come from. Did you really just cross the Bosphorus, or was that weeks ago? Wish I was there! Yours JJ Kipper

How diverse
Amazing to read about he diversity of the houses you passed going through the towns and villages. Photographs are lovely. Keep them coming. Take care and ride safe.

Europe
HI, This journey ticks a few more boxes for you. The european countryside in spring looks interesting - tulips are'big' in Istanbul. I hope you stocked up on Turkish delight in the spice market - it was the best we've tasted. Hope all continues to go well as you head into asia and the 'silk roads' - well whichever one you are taking! Carol and James

I was there
Hi Ed & Lorraine I've just been flicking through your blog for the first time and what a journey it was. You've brought back loads of memories - and names that I've already forgotten! It was great riding with you and what we all achieved together was, on a day to day basis, not remarkable, but when it's all linked together it was one helluvan adventure. Many thanks for your constantly pleasant company, even when we were feeling a bit grumpy. Looking forward to your blog on the China trip. Keep it all sunny side up. Best regards Chris & Danielle

Fearfull Reindeer
Interesting how the original wildlife is fearless of man ( despite what happened in the past ) but that the introduced animals are fearfull ( presumably applies to the rats and mice as well.......... are there any introduced mice on S. Georgia? ) . Brilliant account of our visit. David

The abundance of life
Although it is a struggle for us humans to endure the Antarctica it is incredible how much life is down there, not only in variety but in numbers of individuals.............as portrayed so well in this blog David & Di

Ice floes
WOW! I never realised that ice could be so colourful - and have such interesting striations. Some brilliant colours in the photographs too. I could never imagine trecking across the ice to try and find another group - amazing story. Carol
