Fog and hard pack Hey ho girls and boys
Looks like more and more goodtimes coming from the BN show. I espically like the animal photos of the galapagos. You guys are nailing quite the experience. Brad Luke Kalle and myself drove up the yukon for the haines easter weekend. There must have been at least 1000 people out there. Full size semis 100s of rvs and a few make shift ones. The weather was the pits and it rained on us a few times. Monday was half decent but spring slush and no signs of decent powder. Got a few good photos. Diamond drilling on Sunday. Chow
In the words of a great Canadian, and my personal friend Don Cherry you two "are a couple of real beauties" That Darwin fellow sure had the right idea settling on those islands to gather his thoughts. Hope the leg is healing well, but you get a bit of a scare because that is one incredible story that will have to be told again and again.
Take care
nice posin Nas
Hey guys, nice pictures, might have to steal a few of the underwater ones as Im missing those hehe. Hope your trip southwards is going well and no doubt will see you again soon on the old gringo trail hehe.
Simply amazing All i can say is that it gave me chills reading your story. Incredible. It made me want to get into a plane tommorrow. You guys rule.
Cheers, dave
Wow! Hi Ben and Nas,
Unbelievable pictures - I think your best yet!!! You are going to have a heck of a time cataloguing all your pics and summarizing your experiences. Ben, you dive off the cliff scared me just looking at you - I can't imagine being there!!!
Thanks for the pics and journals- miss you both.
Your loving Auntie Moe
xoxoxo
Welcome back from the "beginning of time" Glad to hear you had such a unique life happening. Trust the leg injury is healing. Ben, the best I can do for Corona seems to be .55cents-just fine with me. I am rationing my Nicaraguan Cigars and as Gail says I must be getting 2 hrs out of each one. Mom says, she agrees that a higher force was looking after you when we saw those huge waves. Wonderful photos. Love you both, Big Daddy
Miss You! Hi Ben and Nas,
What a treat to read all about your exploits. Your Grammy would have loved reading all about your travels. She was a great "arm-chair" traveller. Thanks so much for the postcards - what a thrill for you both. Uncle Jas, Auntie Ger and I had a great time skiing in Colorado - thought of you both and then again in Lake Placid. You will forget how to ski and snowboard! - ha! - just kidding! Continue to give 'er as your dad would say. Much love from you Auntie Moe
Hello Reaching new heights, having a new center of balance, and learing a new instrument are all incredible accomplishments.
To my suprise though I never knew that lamas could throw frisbees.................... to which your probable response Ben might be something along the comical lines of "hair farming is big down here in South America", followed up with an explanation of how you and Nastassia are planning an early retirement in the cropping season.
Take care you two, hello Nastassia.

Churches, waterfalls and Disc Golf! Greetings from Ko Phi Phi! I love the pics and being at teh middle of the world makes me want to seek out tha same spot over here! A little jealouse that you got to play disc golf, but if one of us is doing it, thats Wunderbar! By the way, from corey and I, stop being cheap...and buy a new hat, we can see the sweat stains from Thailand. Take care, and you two can finally stop wearing jackets !

nice shots Hey thanks for the update, looks as though the goodtimes are none stop. While I was in Panama Matt B and I checked out a carnival in Boquete. Pretty fun much like the dawson fest. We picked up some bad ass ecuadorian pauchos and ninga suits. One of which I rocked at a drum and bass party in whistler last night. Wish there were photos, but I looked like a wild wild west ecuadorian white ninga master. Always goodtimes.
yeh yeah
I say! How jealous am I as it is minus 20 in Whitehorse today (March 14). Have totally enjoyed your awesome stories and photos. Thanks a million---from the Arctic Circle (well, almost).
The Canada Games were a roaring success. You would have enjoyed them. We are all very proud.
Love and warm Yukon hugs,
Missy
NASTASSIA YOU LOOK SO COOL IN THAT LITTLE BLACK HAT AND BEN, I AM BECOMING ENVIOUS OF ALL THAT HAIR....THE MIDDLE OF THE WORLD...IMAGINE. LOVE YOU TWO.
Can't wait for a change of scenary Hello Nastassia and Benjamin,
It is nice to see your pictures, as they have so much diversity (not an old wooden ship). Jordan and I are island hopping around the gulf of Thailand right now, and we are currently on Koh Tao. I am really excited to get to Chang Mai in Northern Thailand and then travel through Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. Well bye for now keep on exploring.

Just a few lines Wow, and I thought Gas was cheap over here in Malaysia at around 1.8 ringgit per litre (60 cents CAN). The view from 5000m plus must have been incredible. Jordan and I are missing the surf now as well.
Nice pics also
Your a tough guy dave, you can handle it! I am down by 3 games... sniff sniff, but i can feel a comeback!!
-Nas
PS good to hear you have something to read at work! Oh and ben is going a little crazy now that he can´t surf every day...
There you are! I didn't see your new blogs until today and Nastassia, I love the picture for the moms. The pictures at that point got very blurry, "watery' etc. You two look fantastic! What adventures you are having. It seems far away from all this snow at the moment. Mike said today, that he is ready for Mexico! xoxo mom
Take it easy on the Americanos Ben and Nas, Were not all fake and i dont even eat fast food although i guess my cars are pretty superficial. Nice to see you guys doing well. from sand and surf Those mountain roads looks sketch! Good to see you've made it through and are still trekkin. Rob and I are in Huacachina, Peru trying to convert our snowboarding skills to the mountainous sand dunes here. Don't miss it! Once you're in Ecuador, be sure to check out Baños. It's a great little spot. If you drop me an email (hxxdwinker@hotmail.com) I can give you more advice. Keep dreamin big!
You found the lost city! What up Ben and NAs! Good to see that you are having a blast and learning to make Cocaine...odd. The pics look great, but ben you look like one ofthe locals in your swimming pic...DARK! All the best. We just touched down in Singapore and will be here for Chinese New years.
All the best
Jordan
Incredible, amazing, wonderful pictures, It sounds like the traveling pair is truly living the dream. I can’t wait to share some amazing memorable stories back home after the standard 8 to 5 shift. That is if you two are ever to return to Canada. Take Good Care.

39 cent beer Maybe you have guessed i am fairly bored at work. I have a four break between practices today and there are no waves. Ok enough of my crying. I want some 39 cent beer. Pretty sweet photos. Be careful of those columbians down there. If you run into any trouble make sure to tell them that youu are canadien. Better yet you should probably fly your flag. Cheers, Dave
Living The Dream,
That was the name we selected when we set off on our first adventure out of Canada in November, 2006. Eight short months, and eight countries later, the love of my life, Nastassia Kunz was taken from me in a tragic bus accident just outside Sucre, Bolivia. She died doing one of the things she loved most, and I am thankful she had the chance to expand her horizons and open her eyes to this bizarre, beautiful, demented world we are a part of.
This travelblog is dedicated to my soulmate, who I shared the most amazing and beautiful 8 months of my life with while trave... full info
