A Lot of Work it looks like to me - a very gruelling hike. I am tired just thinking about it. Stunning scenery though. It was good to talk to you both just now - you sound awesome, and I can see you are having a great time. Enjoy yourself at work this week - two weeks, two weeks!! You can do it, and then it's over.
Take care, be safe,
Love Tammy xoxo
Pretty incredible scenery! And that hike you guys took sounds pretty intense! (I hope you didn't mess up on the purchasing of your water this time though haha) Looks like you guys are having a blast though, even with the factory job (i hope i will one day find out what the job actually is!) Take care!
Thanks! Hey,
Thanks for the update Leighann, glad to hear you found a job, good thing it's only short term, you'd go crazy! I did it on a potatoe farm for a couple of weeks after getting back from South Africa. I tried so hard not to watch the clock, but I had to, I lived from break to break. Beautiful pics...keep them coming.
Merry Christmas to ya, do something really wild or really kind or both during the holidays it will dull the homesickness.
Life is not bad here, just got reconnected with Amanda going for coffee Tuesday, can't wait, she got a new... fricken VW! with seat warmers! Man.
take easy!
You should have stolen a little of that snow for Santa! I heard "Let the Bells Ring" today and thought of you. That garden pic is crazy pretty- straight out of a magazine.
Stay safe! Happy Holidays
Oh my goodness! Trust you to find yet another way of risking life and limb in the name of fun!? I read it, then I saw the pictures and my stomach turned over. Amazing how one person's nightmare is another's dream!
Glad you're enjoying it. Hope you find a not too strenuous job soon. We miss you lots and lots and LOTS! Much love, Cate
Tauranga Leigh-Ann, I love that your blogs give a little more detail than you-know-who's. The Zorbing sounds like a blast - so glad you are both having a great time. Write when you get work!!
Love,
Tammy

Amazing!!!! Leigh!!! Your stories are so exciting and are getting me pumped for my trip - we leave in 5 weeks!!! I spoke to Colin last night and he's getting us all geared up for a terrific 3 weeks! Sounds like you're having a blast! Tell Brett that we're missing him at Wednesday night ball!!!!! :) Take care.
Hi Leigh-Ann,
Not too many people get to sit on top of a rainbow!:) Looks like you are having a great adventure. Pictures are awesome. Will check out the Waipu Museum. We enjoy being able to check into your Blog , keeping up to date with your travels. All the best. Love " The Paradise Pair"
Sounds Fun I can't believe you went Sand Boarding! That sound so much fun! Oh and one of your pictures has a rainbow in it! (I studied them) It sound like you're having an awesome time, are you going to see the Great Barrier Reef?
Anyway I think it's pretty unbelieveable... :)

Where are all the sheep? As we're planning the next stage of our farm life, I'm looking to you for inspiration...get some good shots of sheep for me, would ya!
Your travels continue to sound amazing...and exhausting...we miss you lots (can't believe it is November already!)
Cheers -hj
So glad to hear about your week and happy you hit all the high spots. Didn't you just love 90 mile beach---forgot that the rental cars have it right in the agreement not to go on the beaches!!! Awesome where the Tasman and Pacific meet eh? So much to do--so little time. Dad was so glad to see the huge Kauri trees , NS and know you went to the museum!Enjoy your next road trip. Love Mum and Dad
I like this town. "Bowling Club" is just as important as the streets (the way it should be really). I know those other signs that we can't read from the angle say "Liquor Store", "Smokes", and "Bingo Hall"
looking good Leigh-Ann. Quite funny that you went to a place named Leigh... maybe you should aim to go to a place named Ann by the end of the adventure! Keep the pictures coming, they make me miss you a little less.

I love that there are 40 other sheep like your friend! He's cute! Very jealous of your adventure and I know you are enjoying every minute of it! Take care!
Now I am jealous! I know you have a lot of incredible plans, and have already seen some wonderful things, but for the first time I really am envious. I have wanted to visit New Zealand for a long time. It's strange to see you on a beach, when I look out on the cold and rain! Don't you love finally driving on the "right" side of the road?! Much love, Cate
New Zealand looks like such a beautiful place! And your sailing trip looks like so much fun!! I know what you mean about people being so helpful when you're travelling on your own. I found that as well. It's pretty amazing how kind people are to total strangers. Glad your having so much fun, and keep the blogs coming. Love the pictures!
those ol' motown records When you get back, I'll be waiting with a cd of your new favorite singer: Rod the Bod. It will happen, it will happen:)
Although I am totally jealous of this adventure, I know that this adventure is one I would have had to sit out. I just don't have the guts to be willing to participate in such an initiation! Way to go Leigh-Ann! You only live once, and you are rocking it out! I'm so proud.
Leigh-Ann! These are great! It's so nice for all of us to be able to be in tune with your travels. Your pictures from Hawaii were fantastic! MS2 had a test today that included volcanoes. It's amazing that from so far away you manage to still teach our class. That book had some really awesome pictures! Ben was kind of disappointed that you didn't get him Dog the Bounty Hunter's signature. Love from Halifax! -Elly
Lucky Duck! Hey leigh! Looks like you're having a blast! I'm super jealous about the sailing venture....as I'm sure you know I would be! Keep the blogs coming - it's fun reading about your adventures! Take care!
The trip of a lifetime! You really are experiencing it all! And your photos are amazing...I'm very impressed with the travel-blog, I must say!
We received your package yesterday...Kathryn said (in a very loving way) "even from the other side of the world, she finds a way to teach us". We miss you - stay safe. HJ
We had our first Duke meeting today. Only 2 newbies but we'll work on increasing that. Some of the 9s want us to take them on a Silver trip at the end of their grade 10 year. I said I'd mention it to you. Geoff is still bragging about his 8 consecutive "terms" as president on the trip. (:
Looking forward to learning about New Zealand in future blogs. Christy (:
Wow, Leigh-Ann! You sound like you
e having an amazing time. Im so jealous! The competition sounds really inspiring. I can wait to read about your further adventures.
