So another year has crept up on me and we found our birthdays once again approaching very quickly. I say we because my birthday and my husbands birthday are exactly one week apart. He is exactly one year and one week older than me. Maybe it was just me, maybe the hours were getting shorter, or maybe it was the fact that it was my first birthday since I had baby and most days are just a blur. Regardless of the reason, I was turning another year older faster than I could ever remember before. Normally I would plan an adventures out of town trip to celebrate our birthdays. I just recently turned 28 yrs. old and all I could really think about is how much closer to 30 I was getting. Everyone kept asking, "So what are you planning for you birthday this year ?" I wasn't really sure, I didn't have anything planned. I certainly wasn't going to go out and get wasted like I did when I was 21. It would take me almost a week to recover from that.
