Oh My Lauren, what an amazing and honest account. I hope Indonesia brings you the rest, travel, amazing adventures and more importantly "me" time. I have days where I feel like I'm running on the treadmill in hamster cage but I shall try and take comfort from our daily mantra, especially No: 6. I look forward to reading more on your blog. Thanks for sharing Lauren. An incredibly insightful and articulate piece. I had looked into doing a mental health first aid course but was dubious about what I would learn. I will definately sign up for the next one that is available for me.
All the best with your adventures. I can't wait to hear more about them.
Best wishes
Sara

Thanks Sara :) The course is good in itself, in its objectives and content, and I think that it is really beneficial. What made it for me was the people on the course and the trainers - their passion, honesty and willingness to share their own experiences and supportive approach to others on the course. I have made friends out of it. I think it's one of those courses that as a group you get out what you put into it, but the principle and content itself have great value. Was great to see you this weekend, have a safe flight back tomorrow x

Lauren, such a wonderful blog and I'm so proud of what you're doing. Couldn't agree with you more. This needs to be spoken about. I love your mantra (very yogic!), and it reminded me of the serenity prayer too: please grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.
Can't wait to read more and have a wonderful time on your travels x

Hi Lauren, what you're doing is truly inspirational so thank you so much for that. I wish you every happiness in your adventure and will enjoy your posts over the coming weeks. Take care of yourself and keep up with the mindfulness - you're in the perfect place for it. Much love, Debs xxx
An Indonesian adventure Thanks Lauren for your blog and honest openness...I wish you "fair winds" for your journey through Indonesia and through life. I too believe that openness and honesty about mental health is important and is part of a better life for all and a better society. For too long individuals and their families and friends have suffered. It is indeed Time to Change. Best wishes :-)
