Flat Stan! What a riot! The pics with Flat Stanley are great! I did the same thing for my brother Bob's daughter Tina about a year back and showed her version - Flat Sandy - around San Pedro, California. My son Anderson helped, and we had a ball!
Wow!
A couple of things come to mind here...
The first is that you don't tell us how quickly Larry turned down the offer from the masseuse (I'm assuming he did, of course). My guess is that, knowing you were in earshot, he waited an agonizingly long time before refusing...
Secondly, your bungalow experience actually reminds me of my time in rural Queensland. In a very hot summer, green tree frogs look for water wherever they can find it, so, if a window is open in your hotel room, the chances are good that you'll find one floating in your toilet looking up at you. Gave me a nasty turn - but I imagine it was worse for the poor frog!
Finally, the image of a child selling heroin is striking...and disturbing.
Great blog - and amazing stories!
lets see some episodes of boom boom!! Give me the directions for getting to the episodes of "boom boom musicland" !! If I can get to them then I'll try to find a way to make it easier for others to get to them too!
Tear in my eye I'm not crying - my eyes are just sweating...
Just got a little reminiscent - thanks. It's great to see that good times are still going on. And Nic's still rockin it!!
Mel looks so cute - I guess you didn't dress up as much as you wanted to at EV so I'm glad you finally found your niche.
Rememberin' the good times!!
Catch you guys soon.
You guys look pretty serious here - this stuff is great. You seem to have found a comfortable, fun niche there that lets you both use talents that might otherwise lie dormant. I wonder how long you plan to stay!
Then again, after seeing Larry in that wig, perhaps it is time for you to get out of the country...
memories Hi: sophie's mum here - just stumbled across your Sydney Part 1 bog and it was great to read, see the photos and remember your visit. Howare you both? Still in Korea? Missing Sophie of course, who is now in the Bahamas, but going over at Christmas (dreading that long plane trip). Love to you both. Christine
Hey! You guys (and gal) are so cute! My husband appreciates the sense of humor of your captions! It's neat to see what's going on with you all so far away! Too bad about the tour cancellation!
Great Blog! Loved the boots!! Thanx for sharing your trip. We are stationed in seoul and I'd love to see this. I didn't know it occured until I read your blog. Bravo for you guys!

Hello World,
Our journey started on February 16, 2005, when we met in New York City. We became inseparable from the very first day we met, began dating, fell in love, and moved in together in SoHo, N.Y.C. Our lives, now intertwined, took a very adventurous turn as we moved to Japan. While living in Japan for a year I (Larry) taught English as a second language in Shin Uryasu-shi and Melanie was Ariel in a performance of 'The Little Mermaid' at Disney Sea in Tokyo. After Japan, we realized how much we enjoyed traveling and decided to move to South Korea.
During our first year in Sout... full info
