If your Dad wasn\'t such a good finger point dancer you probably wouldn\'t have the skills to point in Germany!!!!

Lana, you do write a wonderful travel log. Glad to hear you have settled in to your own little space. Monmarte is wonderful as you describe. Also very interesting to hear your view on revisiting a place...most of us do not have that chance. With experience behind you yet a fresh perspective and new ideas, do enjoy.... Darlene

Yay for bikinis
You should always buy a bikini in a foreign country...foreign countries are the perfect place to wear bikinis and it is unthinkable to wear a one-piece in Europe.

Would love to be at the airport, but...
Lana, I can't imagine your tales are coming to a close. They are so great. I also can't imagine that someone hasn't alerted you to the line-up and the clear need to get tickets to the Folk Fest. Hawksley is the mainstage headliner on Friday and since you missed his concert in March.... Hope you have the tickets in hand. Very much look forward to more travel tales when I see you next. D.

Ahhh....how relaxing and entertaining
Lana, What will Friday night be without a little travel ditty from you. Just wanted to reinforce my point that travel writing and living abroad is truly your forte.

Paris = stairs
I may or may not have started my last blog entry with that exact Blog... I walked what felt like ALL the stairs in Paris yesterday, I now know what Brazil felt like (I may have done more than I should have)... *sigh* Miss you bunny.

Lana you should've asked a tour guide about the Czech habit of throwing leaders out of windows during revolutionary moments. I know if I was a government leader in Prague I would have my office on the first floor. Just to be safe.

Germany and beyond
Lana, I really do hope you keep this record of your observations and adventures. I could hardly breathe reading your visit to the Dachu and I know from others who have visited there that feelings were similar. Everyone knows you have a high intellect and a connection to people, and I suspect that the experience of events and places will only bring you to an even higher plane in this regard. D.

Love reading about your adventures Lana
You are a terrific writer Lana and I was inspired and also ready to cry reading about your last thoughts on Paris. A magical place that no North American could envision without visiting, and visiting beyond the guidebook landmarks. Truly, I think you need to do your grad studies there - it would so suit you. Not sure where you are headed, but will keep checking in on the blog, it is great. Darlene PS: I know a woman who parlayed her adventures sailing with her family for one year into a great book with lots of personal appearances and other perks. Something to consider when you return to Edm. and might have a personal computer and time to assemble all these great accounts into a lovely read.

The Adventures of Lana Continue.......
Hey Lana ! Great to hear all your adventures you wild woman It sounds like you have covered many places in a short time and are having an amazing vacation. You should try writing for a travel magazine, let them read your blog and they will be convinced to pay you to travel and write for them. Good idea? Enjoy yourself and travel safe. Look forward to reading more stories through your blog. Love you lots. Auntie V.

Je t'aime aussi
C'est excellent! Je commence a perdre mon français a cause de l'Allemand - mais pour maintenant ça va. Je suis un peu nerveuse au fait que j'ai pensé de seulment rester trois jours en Paris - c'est trop court non? 4 jours!

Ah Paris.....
Lana, You really do have the gift for writing and entertaining as you give us your observations and thoughts. I soooo envy you being in Paris and loving it. With French in your heritage, and carpe diem in your spirit, what about grad school in this most lovely of cities? We'll all work on your Dad if you give us the word! And Versailles, a magical place....truly. So glad to hear about your travels and especially glad to hear the excitement and enticement in your words. Enjoy!

Lana, thanks to your Mom, I too am enjoying reading your travelogue. You are so funny and some of your experiences I can identify with. We won't say which ones... I can see that you are having a grand time and possibly mulling over a future play for the Fringe..... based on some of your experiences and people you are meeting.... Simone

Hello Lana
Dearest Cousine, I have most enjoyed reading the entries in your blog - finally after your Mom sent me the link!!! There is never too much fun that a 'girl' can have, and you are doing your bit. By the time you get this, you may be in France, which is tres bon. When, or if are you meeting up with Mike? Keep the journal going as it is great. You must give Dallas lessons at some pont...his entries are far less superior... Enjoy, Love, D.
