thanks Laura, always nice to hear from you, so interesting! I'm planning a crab feed for your family sometime soon here at the beach, when do you come home? Will Grant be comming with you? Tim
Good Choices Laura, your grandma is my aunt. My mom, Georgine Wangsmo Beath was one of your grandma's (Sonja Wangsmo Hoggarth) older sisters. Your mom would be my cousin! So in some universe somewhere we are related. Anyway your grandma has kept me in the loop of your travel and your blog. I love to travel, so that is the connection.
What I want to say two things: First, thanks for posting the photgraphs over the past couple of years it has been fun for me. Second, it is great to see a young person taking some risks and enjoying her life. You seem to get it--living life that is. Good choices. Keep on keeping on.
wow! Thanks for the updates, it is really interesting for Claudia and I to hear about you. All is well around here, Grandma and Grampa are suppost to be in Hawaii. We haven't heard from them on the internet so i guess they are there. Neither Claudia or myself went to Chile this year. No $$$$.

I met a former convict I visited there in 1980. At that time there were several former convicts who were living in St.Laurant.. They had refused to return to France when the penal colony was disbanded. His name was Henri Cite. I also have corresndence with Alexander Miles, the author who is currently living in Cayenne and who has written a lot about the penal colony and who has done a special for the history channel.
