Bizarre coincidence. I've been planning some travels recently and consequently stumbled across these pages. After reading through a couple of your observations, it suddendly hit me; we went to highschool together. I realise I've come to the party a little late, with the most recent comment before this one being over a year ago. Still it was a coincidence I couldn't completely ignore. Congratulations on your travels, Kylie! I'm sure you have plenty more achievements accrued over the past 11 years that I am ignorant of, but nonetheless, exciting reading!

Scary photo! Happy Girl! Love the 'Safety - Whats that?' photo - you look so happy and so scared - all at once! Those ridgelines are amazing - makes me want to pull on my boots and my beanie!
The hills are alive...! HIKING! Why - WHY am I not there with you>?! We could have been doing sound of music montage. Damn and Blast this stupid 'needs money to live' gig.
City of Gold So Missy - I think you're holding out on us here. We all know why you went to South America. It was to fing the City of Gold - right? And fly on that big Condor?! So whats the deal? I'm not fooled at all by these hilarious accounts of monkeys and awesome re-tellings of cathedrals.
Lucky girl! You look like you are having such a great time, you lucky girl! Keep the posts coming. I'm enjoying living vicariously through you. :-) I miss you!

Lucky You Hi Kylie, Lucky you being over there. We are expecting snow here in Canberra tomorrow, I would much rather be over there with you where it is hot. Have a good time and keep safe. Love from Linda and Tubby.
Love the pictures Great to read about your travel experiences, however, the pictures do give a thousand words. The colours look fabulous.
Cheers,
Linda
quesadilla I love the fact that when the bus drove off u were waiting in line for a quesadilla, haha. Do they just sell them on the side of the road? or are they like Macca's drive thru in South America, haha.
sounds like your having fun.
Hey Kylie,
Your adventures sound so exciting, especially the trip to the volcanoes and the little misadventure where you got stuck in the middle of a river! It sounds like you are having a fantastical time. I can't wait to read more stories about you travels. Missing you lots back home!
Stay safe,
Kat
unknown animal Hey Sugar, cheers for the blog, nice to hear of your adventures. The animal you wanted to pat is called a Coati or a 'hog nosed coon'. They're very tame because everyone usually feeds them, but can get very nasty over food or if patted... They're all over the place if you make it to Iguacu Falls...
Happy travels
Looks like fun! I would love to be down there roasting marshmallows over the molten hot lava with you, Kylie! Thanks so much for keeping your readers abreast of your trip. It looks like a once in a lifetime trip! Keep us posted. :-) Miss you!

Go Girl Hi Kylie it seems you are having fun. It is so good to follow your travels. Make sure you have an awsome time thinking of you here where it is freezing. Miss you Linda and Tubby. P.S. Tubby says meow to robbie up in Sydney with his grandma. lol.
Whew - Mexico Hey love. Great to hear from you. Glad your out, safe and sound. Maybe you can round back and check Mexico city out when it's a little safer...? Things are good back here, if a little cold, but that's Canberra for you. You missed the major cold snap that hit just after you left and we got heaps of rain. I think Canberra was crying cause you left... ha ha. We all miss you heaps. Keep the correspondance coming.
Love heaps Ames xxxx
Kylie
