J folk... Oh Davey, you KNOW that all J folk flash the peace sign, and its the same guy (Yusuke) in all those pics. Wait until you go to Japan yourself...you'll see!
What is "herpes" in Vietnamese? hahahahahahahahahaha
Did you ever find out what those people were doing? You know what it reminded me of? Did you ever see that movie EuroTrip? Of course, you've seen it...forgot my audience. Anyhoo, remember the scene when they're waiting in line to get into the Louvre, and there's that robot mime guy, and the main character starts imitating him, and they get into a robot mime throwdown fight? If that little girl hadn't come along, I could so see it progressing to something bad.
As for those horrible things in the war museum, they're hard to see, but I think everyone should see those things at some point. It serves as a reminder for our generation to not repeat the mistakes and atrocities of the generation we came from.
Thank you for being my best friend and coming through for me even when you're in a shack in the middle of a Cambodian swamp. It would mean the world to me even if you were in your jammies sipping coffee at home in Richmond Hill, but it means SO much more that you were in a swamp, and hell, it'll make a good story for us to tell. I printed off your emails and they're now in my journal that I take everywhere with me.
I miss you!! What's the countdown of days right now?
How heavy is your pack? No, seriosuly, how heavy is it? I know you did all sorts of awesome things and met all sorts of people, but I need to focus on the last picture. Now I know who can pack an elephant into a suitcase. The coffee part sounds good too. Mmmm coffee, I can almost smell it from here. Can't wait til the next installment.

Dalat and vegetarian Hi baby, I missed Dalat then as I was running out of time. So I skipped Dalat. Moroever, I went to Sapa - a much more beautiful mountain at the Northern Vietnam, as most poeple said. When you're in KL, you could see the pictures I took in Sapa. Then you would jealous of me and would love to go back to Vietnam, simply because of Sapa! hahaha! Anyway, you're vegetarian? Did you tell me when you was in Japan? I am predominantly a vegetarian too. Mostly I take vegetarian food. Oh yeah, when you're in KL you can try my mum's vegetarian food too! She is a good cook. Yummy..... Love
Hey you - How much would i have loved to see that house! Crazy!! looked awesome! It's always weird hearing how $20 is so much to spend for a day of sit seeing - especially when back here you can drop one and a half times that on a couple of hours at dinner! Neways = Miss you tons! can't wait to see you in a couple of months!
muah!
What time is it? Wow, not only are you travelling the country, you are doing it all with NO WATCH? Crazy. The pictures are amazing and it is awesome that you got to go to the farms and tour around. Can't wait until your next installment.

Vung Tau, a less touristic island! Wow, you spent 5 days in VT? I just spent about a day and night in VT as I was running out time to move north to Hanoi then. I suppose you love the more quiet and less touristic nature of VT, right? Yes, I met Anthony and spent sometime in a pub with him too. Of course, together with my host - Ross. VT, is indeed a heaven for a break after a long trip! Love, Keong
travel beauty I've been following your blog since I returned to the states. Sure enjoy your casually entertaining writing style. But one thing really burns me: Do you ever have an ugly day?
A new view of Vung Tau Hi Krysta
Thanks for adding me to your blog - I will look forward to your fresh perspective on Saigon! You have obviously seen a side of Vung Tau that I haven't as yet... I have been there a couple of times but I guess I need to meet a local like Antony to see it from a local's view.
Hope all is well in Phnom Penh and that you managed to catch up with Phirun...
All the best for safe and happy travels, with a few more hairy bus and boat rides in store for you I am sure!
Allyson
fabulous tea! hey sweetheart! been drinking the tea...fabulous! thanks so much for it and but again, you really didn't have to! will definitely have to make a trip there soon.
talent?!? sheesh, krysta, you tell us that you have seen the hotest guy and then you don't post a picture of him!? i don't know! still enjoying reading your trip. happy thanksgiving by the way - we celebrated at tammy's yesterday with turkey, homemade cranberries, pumpkin pies, carrot cake, the works! you were missed. hope you still got to celebrate. looking forward to further tails of all the men you meet (oh and things you see too!). love and hugs amanda
Are you kidding me? What were you thinking? You go on and on and on about the hot Vietnamese guy, and then DON'T post a picture of him for us all to judge? Not fair! Plus, I sense that you're leaving out some details! Send me an update!!
How about west lake? I went to West lake three times and feel it's so-so, except in night. You should went to see the Quantang-tide also. There's only 32km from Hangzhou city and just 3 yuan at bus's ticket. And it's really great!
I must say Krysta, you have met an amazing amount of new friends...I had travelled alone b4 (not nearly for as long as your current trip though) but I literally travelled alone and you're travelling with so many people......travellers crossing paths; that's the beauty of it all
Banwell Development Ltd. well according to the words on the glass door they sell organic vegs......you should've bought some from them! anyway that's the beauty of cosmopolitan HK - you're never too far away from home.
Where are you now? "Backpack Banwell", I love it! Sliding down sand dunes, meeting sugar daddies and cute j-boys, what next?!? It's great that you're having such an awesome time culture sharing and meeting all these cool ppl. Looking forward to the next installment of your wacky adventure stories. Take good care of yourself!
How's the motor-taxi ride? It looked like you have found more new friends even without the help of HC. Good for you! How's the motor-taxi ride? If yes, I hope you would enjoy my motor-ride in KL too! Did I tell you that you have to wear a helmet in KL? Love, Keong
Nothing but the best! I must admit that you certianly remind me of the travelling uncle from 'Fraggle Rock'. All of these stories are great. When you rampage, you certainly do it in style. As for the Man situation, I am holding auditions for you while you are gone. I will try and have a few lined up for when you get back. You should really hit up the asian embassys when you get back, im sure they'd give you a great job! Discovery channel had a huge special on china, so i've been looking for you in the background, i doubt they have many people in that country. None the less, take good care, smell the roses, breath in the air, enjoy the ride!
Jono
I've finally finished my big Asian trip and have about 9 blogs left to write. So far I've covered Japan, Mongolia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia, but stay tuned for Myanmar, Thailand, Malaysia, more Japan and London!
I'm just getting settled back into life in Canada now, so wait patiently for the last few blogs. Especially Myanmar...that was quite an 'interesting' couple weeks...
