We're missing you! Mr. Krish,
You do possess a most amazing ability to write well! Your descriptions are so vivid and detailed, the reader almost feels present ( and fortunate not to be swallowing "cardboard.) This adventure will be indelibly etched in your mind forever. May you savor every moment. It's our last day of classes at Applewild, and after a hectic ending we can catch up with you and your stories! NAMASTE!
wonderful picts and writing, Kris! Beguiled with your descriptions and so glad you have this opportunity to etch these images into your mind and soul.
Recently got "Water", on Netflix and it tells the story India's widows, forced to live shriveled, sequestered lives or else kill themselves on their husbands' funeral pyres or, if the family is willing, marry the dead husband's younger brother. Macabre, but it is a love story. Powerful. An unhappy but not hopeless ending. Do see it sometime.
Miss you and oh, did I say I miss you?????
hey there! Best of luck bud! Sounds like you're having a great time.
If you venture further south around Chennai or Pune, let me know! My uncle and aunt would definitely love to show you around (and will impose a meal on you in all likelyhood).
Breathless! Kris,
Your description is so vivid, my breath was held while reading. Amazing photos as well. Unfathomable for a person never there, to understand and appreciate the immediacy of both your long mountain views and day to day connection(s) with people.
Excellent writing, by the way. Good speed, enjoy, gulp!
hey there! Hey Kris- Hello from warm and sunny (yes, you read that right!!) Ashburnham.... Finally got onto your blog to check up on you, and as usual, you sound great! Albeit warm!!! Hoping the school is going well by you now. Please post again soon so we can share in your travels. Passed all along to the boys and all three say hi. We miss you tons. As do all of your Applewild students btw!!!
Big hugs....
Kim
Warmth, heat Hey Kris,
Wonderful description! Especially enjoyed your struggle to find words exact enough to capture the interplay between seeing what is there and becoming open to it.
Enjoy! Proud of you, pleased for you!!!!!
love ya - G'Ma
Have you been cold yet? Hi Kris,
Love the picture! I hope that all your travels are going well and that it is not too cold for you! You must be meeting a lot interesting people. Looking forward to hearing about the adventurous train trip to the Taktse School.
Be safe, love Mom
