So here i am back in Flagstaff after another fun filled week at the Wupatki. Much better overall experience there this week but at the same time i'm glad i am going somewhere different next time around. Most of the crew members were the same and we had the same supervisor so not many new faces or names to get used to and i felt as though the time at camp was a lot better than last week. So after a 23 hour journey; leaving heacham at 7.30 am and arriving in Flagstaff at 11.30 local time, I have finally arrived at project base camp. First impressions of Arizona were that it was very HOT, still over 35 degrees by 5.30pm, cooling down to about 10 degrees by the time i got to the apartment in flagstaff. The accommodation looks OK so far, 4 to a bedroom and i am on a top bunk :/ I am sharing with an American named Sean who left this morning on a 3 week project, a German called Florian and i am yet to meet the other person as he is away on project at the moment.
