Geography! Looking forward to seeing you guys back in Durbs sincerely hope that you are taking plenty of Geography pics Keith like we did in Langebaan! The coastlines sound perfect for a Geo excursion. I will be packing this weekend, the removal van arrives on Thursday to collect my stuff and from this Sunday I am housesitting. Leave for Dbn on the 13th with Cora. Will be staying in Glenwood with my varsity roommate to start with Jackie. Take care and love to you both. Bianca
sad to say gbye to bali Hi K and Lili - thanx for latest blog - as usual you have quite a way with words. It all seems to spring to life as we read them and take in the colourful pics. U have already landed in Oz - hope all went well with the flight and that u were met ok at the airport. Enjoy Perth - there are millions of Whenwees there. See if anyone remembers Geoffrey Atkins - radio and tv announcer in Zim who went there in 1980s.
Mom says thanks too. Has raINED here all nite and turned cold. Went to Drama Theatre tonite to see African three-hander - excellent - very clever use of stage and characters. Luv - Dad xxx and Mom xxx

keith's modesty cant believe keith's modesty - hell - that's no way to take a shower! How do you go about bathing? Have just come back from joburg - 2006 Comrades launch. Boring. Your latest blog is a smash hit - have printed it out - but much better online. More tomorrow! Dad xxx
hi fellow travellers hey guys - glad to hear you having such great time. we just been chilling in one place for last 4 weeks!! places look amazing where you are. glad you having fun - look forward to maybe seeing u in sydney. we off to NZ next week.

You don't need a camera! Sounds awesome! That kind of place will stick in your mind's eye forever - there is no camera that can capture a memory(ies) like that. I am curious, though, did you raid the local library before you left? You will do yourself an injury lugging all those books around. ;-)
I'm looking out for you guys :) I'm in Gili Trawangan also (still) - not sure if you are but I'll look out for you. I didn't get to go to Komodo - real shame after seeing your photos. Hope the rest of your travels go as well as those above. Wierd - I was sitting in the same balcony in Melaka (Travellers Lodge) around the same time as your photo as well...
U look like David Hasselhof!! Cool! Read yer blogs and, I have to say, it takes me back. Travelling with pack and Lonely Planet in hand.. those were the days. Those waves look really scary, really huge breakers... BE CAREFUL!!!! ;-)

Narly dude!!! Hey Guys,
Glad to hear, and see, you are both enjoying your travels. Make the most of surfing in those warm waters, it's not quite the same back here in england. Hoping for waves this weekend when Sarah and I will be heading down to Devon. Will be suited and booted in neoprene though!
Happy and safe travels,
Paul and Sarah

Photos Hi
Can anyone let me know if they can see the photos? Within internet explorer for me they are showing plain black with a small white box with a red x in the top left hand corner. If somebody could let me know if they can see them properly I would appreciate it (as I then know it is something to do with my settings although I can see the pictures from previous entries).
Thanks
Carl
So Jealous!!! I am so jealous that you guys are still being beach bums and still traveling. I'm now back in the States working crazy hours at my law firm. But I've been keeping everyone here entertained with stories from my travels and especially stories from the Jungle! You guys will really like KL, I stayed in Chinatown and really liked it, I heard a lot of travelers say that "Red Dragon" or "Dragon Inn" was a good place to stay, it is one block toward China town from the bus station. Keep me updated on your travels, I am now living vicariously through you guys.
YUP! moron me has been writing all these comments each time only to realise that login is required..! So you guys have missed all my fabulous enteries! HA! SO.....the tuk tuk was the speciality for me in the last blog! As i mentioned earlier- if that comment arrived!- i would have had my backpack between me and the scarey driverdude and I would have been like the chickens hanging off a SA taxi!
tuk tuk bikes ........I was finding the ride on a tuk tuk to be quite hilarious until I read that it was behind some one other than your spouse!hmmmmmmm.....i think I would have had the back pack between the driver and myself and I would have hung on like the chickens on a typical SA taxi!!
durban in springtime Lili and Keith - your diary is amazing. We can almost feel the vibes! We have been following your trip with great interest - Dad looks up all the places on his Nat Geog map! So happy u are both relaxed and well and enjoying each day as it comes. Love and miss u both - take care of yourselves always - Mom xxx and Dad xxx
Having fun! Hey kids, sounds like you are having a great time, not missing Talentlink much then??!
I'm in Chicago at the moment just awaiting future hubby to be to arrive. He missed his plane from LA this morning, you'd think he'd be xctd to see me! Words later, obviously...
We are having the formal engagement tmr so will be officially engaged after that. Will keep you updated on dates for wedding so hopefully if you are India you can join in the celebrations!
Great to hear from you and look forward to getting the next installment.
Take care and don't talk to any strangers!!!
Lots of love

finally getting the hang Hey guys, has taken me a bit longer than the average person to figure out this blog journal thing...discovered the previous entry that I had missed...thought you guys had forgotten to mail...silly me!
Just back from Jess'wedding...my little sister is all grown up! and in Phuket at the moment on honeymoon..if you want to look for them they are either shopping or sipping drinks at the beach side. and straight after the wedding- arrived back really late sunday - headed off with a eight oclock departure to Cape Point for a camp and had an awesome time on an environmental ed programme - even doing the tug thing around the naval base. Sounds like you guys are having an awesome time. Glad to see the chief researcher so hard at work! Hope all went well on the diving course...love to you both and safe travels ...looking forward to the next blog B
Do not brush your teeth with Bangkok water. Take it from me...... been there, done that.... reaped the unfortunate, deathly results. Pay the 25 baht for bottled water!
After 5 years of living in London my wife, Lisa, and I have finally decided to get away from it all and travel. We have resigned from our jobs and have the flat up for rent. This will be our first experience of backpacking but we are both very excited. We intend spending 7 months travelling to Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and the Philippines before heading home to South Africa for close on two months. I stumbled on the website when doing a Google search on Ko Tao and have been hooked ever since.... full info
