Kathy I just finished reading all your blogs. So cool! Sounds like you're having a fantastic time. It's so cool to be able to travel vicariously to Africa through you. I'm reading them to the kids and they are loving them too. The wooden scaffolding reminds me of Hong Kong where all the buildings are made with scaffolding made out of bamboo - incredibly scary but normal to them. Take care, Kym xxx

Great work Hi Kath, Have been finding your adventures really interesting and what good work you are doing in such a poor country. My husband was born in Kenya so hes very familar with the language and the country. Hope you didn't mind Craig giving us your blog sight to read. I knit hundreds of Teddies each year that get sent to countries in need. keep up the good work and hope the rest of your time there goes without any hitches and look forward to reading more of your adventures .... Craig's mum

For Noah..... Hi Noah
Yes the lions were big and I was rather apprehensive at first but then I felt safe with the lion guides with me. When I patted the lion it's fur was rather soft. Fortunately I did not get too close the lions jaws to determine if they had stinky breath. I am glad you are reading my travel blog and thanks for your comments...love auntie kiki xxx
Nice one! Nice entry Kath! Hotel looks awesome...why aren't you staying there?? :-) The lions are so cute. Say hi to Trace for me, hope her backpack has finally arrived. xx
As you all know I am back in Africa.
This time my trip begins in Zimbabwe - Victoria Falls where I make my way on an overland tour to Zambia, Malowi, Tanzania and ends in Kenya.
I then head to Uganda to volunteer at a babies home for several months.
Hope you enjoy my blog....Kath
