I'm green with envy! Been following your blogs and enjoyed each one, esp this one! Love those photos, and captions too! Reminisced about the time i visited Egypt (stayed in Mena House too, isn't it lovely?) and now rethinking whether i should make another visit after all these years.
music I'm pretty sure I've seen you and your sister (and maybe your mother) doing some of those dance moves....great music and a tremendous blog, again, thanks so much!
You guys can really write! Enjoyed your blog so much, and the photos as well! You bet I'd be catching up with your earlier blogs in the next few weeks. Thanks.
Wow Thanks for another intriguing blog entry! I also felt myself getting teary with your description of the golden temple and the kindness of the people you met there. I now REALLY want to go to India! Love you guys...
what a tale you have to tell... Your photos are amazing and your Mom sent additional ones of Egypt when you were all together. How will you ever be able to come home after all of THIS? Thanks for sharing your adventures. No weight gain that I can see...much love.
keep em coming! Keep the blogs coming; they make my days. India is moving to the top of my list, thanks to you two. Your writing and pictures amaze me. Keep it up! Don't quit now!
Love you, MA/Kathy
Food! See, I never understand how most travelers come home thinner than when they left! My husband and I are having the same problem in China; fantastic, cheap food is doing no good for our figures, we will have to be rolled off the plane when we arrive home! I think I will have to go on a diet prior to my trip to India, lord knows how much food I will consume!
never forget the taj hey, at least you won't ever forget your trip to the Taj. Jub, you are looking a bit shaggy these days -- digging the peach pants!
Book Your blogs are so very interesting. I can hardly wait for your book to be published!! What a trip you are having. The Taj is on my list. I hope I get there some day! Be safe.
Stunning Photos! I am in awe of your photos. What kind of camera do you use? I have never had much interest in India before... but now... I'll have to add it to the itinerary! I very much enjoy your blogs!
great! hi guys! welcome to India! it is indeed great to read these kind of reviews about India - most of the reviews that I came across were all focused on the negatives of India - but I really liked the way you have presented things and shown interest in India and its culture. It is indeed a pleasure for Indians to have guests like you and I look forward to direct interaction if you need any assistance during your travel.
Have a great trip ahead. Cheers!

Good Post We are heading the other way through India. Came in at Bangalore and have moved around the South. Heading north now. You will see cows wandering in the traffic if you come down to the South, plenty of them
what beautiful colors Gotta give props for the holi pictures, the one with the guy on the cellphone in Varanasi turned out great.
Too bad you guys didn't partake in the Holi celebration.

catching up on your adventures, I am reading your past entries, and this one is especially nice! I always read with interest, but now it is with envy. The turtle hatch was one of the things I dream about. I worked with a sea turtle conservation group in the "exotic north carolina" and always dreamed of being on an tropical beach in the south pacific, drinking my beer, and having turtles emerge out of the sand! And to have seen the old girls laying!? Y'all are lucky.
Still reading with interest- Stephanie
worth the dangerous hike to the gorge! Your description of people watching in Lijaing is good! If it is true that "the photos don't due justice" then you two must have seen unbelievable sights, because your photos are exceptional. I rated some. Thanks for taking us to the gorge.
Great Reports I dont know you guys personally but I am loving the trip reports. Isn’t next year the 1000 year anniversary of Hanoi? Suppose to be a huge celebration. Any evidence of that yet in Hanoi?
Enjoy your trip and keep up the posts.
Colors Great script and photos. We seem dull in comparison with our khaki, black and white. I would love to have a bound volume of your travel blogs and pics for my living room table.
