Journey of Echoes' Guestbook

I'm sold
I've travelled in 16 provences in China but not entertained the idea of travelling the other China...until now. Imbibing in yum cha weekly as we do, we are partial to Chinese cuisine and more so when with locals. Good China without the bad...how quickly can I get there. I'm always hungry!

Nice!
Glad I could help inspire adding another notch to the "China" belt! And I assure you (from one man who loves China's delicacies to another) you will go bonkers for the food in Taiwan. =)

Well-written. You made me smile!
Coming back to the Mainland?
6th April 2015

Happy to have!
I'm not going back to mainland at the moment. Spending some much needed time at home in Florida instead =D

Perspective and Observations
Great stuff here. Being a nurse I loved hearing the comments on Chinese Medicine and hospitals. Living in another country makes you look at things differently. I lived in Antarctica for 5 months. The isolation was interesting. Being a foodie I love hearing about the weird food.

Wow! 5 months!?
Five months in Antarctica! I can't imagine! Were you doing research there or….?

Puzzled looks become familiar
As always your photography jumps off the page to capture us and take us with you around the globe. Plenty of us nature freaks out there with you. Thanks for sharing Anji with us.

So kind.
Thanks for the kind words, my friend. I've been approaching my photography a bit different lately and trying to find interesting angles and such, so this comment is really encouraging. Thanks!

how infrequent you find yourself alone in this HIGHLY populated country
Anji...where they filmed Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon...thought that was filmed in Anhui...maybe both! Great to hear Anji is a place where you can be alone in China. Amazes me how many places this can happen in China...not necessarily for that long I guess but amazes me anyway. Hope you find many more.

Hey!
I've seen some of your entries. You've been to so many places in China! Well done. Yeah, you're right indeed, CTHD had various filming locations including Anhui province and Anji's bamboo forest. Parts of it were also filmed in Beijing and Hubei province.
