Nice one to finish on Some good photos there son. Fantastic end to a an ubelievable trip. Just the final leg to do now. It's forecast rain in Manchester tomorrow. (Nowt new there !) so you'll be suffering the post travel-of-a-lifetime blues instantly you land. Be good to see you though son, see you at the airport. Papa x
Big Boobs on Bounty Island Wat a site for sore eyes thought mine were big, but your coconuts beat anybodies, you would have looked good in the grass skirt. Glad you landed in LA ok. Great result for Liverpool, are you joining the lads in Olympic country. Will be great to see you johnny boy, although don't know how well coconuts and grass skirt will go down in BARNSLEY!!!
but then again they mite do, some lasses don't have much fashion sense. Take care, have good journey around the US of A.
Hola! Alreyt Pap lad, hows it goin son. Sorry not posted at all but I lost link and these Perot lot are working me into the ground (no change there!). Looks like your having a whale of a time lad and rightly so, once in a lifetime opportunity and all that. Nice set of tats with them coconuts, nearly bigger tat than Marren (HAHA). Seems like only yesterday you went lad and you will be back soon, life is zipping by with a vengeance. Things are pretty much the same back at home, we are leaving the hallowed halls of Lattimer as Capex want to save some brass, moving us out to Harrow (Again, shafting us minus lube). Anyways lad, tek care of thi sen and give us a shout wen u get back so we can congregate for a few jars.
Cheerio,
Wymanovski.
Paradise my arse Dunt look that sunny in Fiji lad, I bet it was hotter here. Speaking of bet (Nice link eh!) look after your hard-earned your brass in Vegas. Dont want to be totally skint when you head for San Francisco. If you go to Alcatraz, have a look for the Birdman's cage sorry cell. Al Capone also spent a bit of time in there. Looking forward to seeing the pictures of the Grand Canyon and Golden Gate Bridge. Let us know what your SFO flight number is and I'll check the old t'internet to see what time your connection to Manchester flies. Take care John, be good to see you after all this time. Papa.
hey, sounds amazing, me and my friend have just been reading your blogs and shes so jealous, id love to be doing all the stuff you have done, looking forward to seeing you round tarn again!
see you soon. Katie x
Funniest yet son I like the comments about your ma and Les - got them off to a tee, Les did an eggy one when I was down at his house the other day and your ma's on the phone this very moment. It'll be nice to get your feet up for a few days on Fiji - take in the sea air instead of bouncing and rolling all over the place. Have a look at a Fiji website before you set off, after the military coup there's a few road-blocks up and down the main islands and you have to register with the British Consul. Take care John - looking forward to you heading back home. Favva xx
Less o the cheek lad Hi John sorry for being on the phone when you reach top of Mt doom would've been your Nan, must be in the genes. Great blog and fantastic photos, bought any new trainers eh! Hope your knee is holding up with all that walking , still got to see all these places while you're there, sort your knee out when you get home. Good to talk to you last night lad was getting anxious needed to hear from you. Anyway enjoy Figi should be a bit more relaxing for you. Looking forward to you coming home now, missing you take care love mum XXX
Stunning Scenery Brilliant photgraphs son. Makes the views of Worsbrough over Barrow muck-stack look decidedly ordinary. Not sure whether you'll be able to settle back down after a trip like this one but me and your ma hope so - we're both missing you. Anyway take care son and keep updating the blog, it makes an excellent red. Favva xxx
Good Stuff "Giz a wave you tosser" quality commentry from thi mate, got you down to a tee, haha. Cheers for the bday present n all lad, cant keep my dad off of it. See ya soon racoon.
Where's the update? Aren't we due an update son? Are you still on the South Island? Done the bungee jump, white water rafting and any other activities of extreme fear that would scare the sh*t out of normal person? Get your pen and paper out lad.
Paddy's Day I did Paddy's day in Queenstown in 2004! And it did get messy. I was booked on the biggest bungy jump in NZ the day after and overlaid. Still managed to get there on the afternoon bus lad.
calm darn son. woah woah woah!!! steady with the pig farm jibes, i find that insulting that you 'still' beleive theres on in Darfield, even after all the arguements and proof we have been through. anyhow, great blog as usual and its probably the best one yet i reckon. That skydive looked bloody awesome, i think i might have to get one done soon as well, but its not quite going to be as picturesque as NZ. laters for now son, Bez
Stunning Some incredible views there son. Make some nice postcards out of that lot. With all this mountain climbing, sky-diving, swimming with dolphins etc it seems a pretty boring life doing a filling line trial with some plastic caps. I'm all for selling up and re-creating your journey but your ma's looking at the pratical side of things. No harm dreaming about it though. Anyway, superb photos of NZ lad - keep 'em coming and watch yourself in Queenstown. Double-check that the rope's tied properly when you do the bungee jump.
What's the fascination wi cliffs? Now then son, what's the fascination with standing on the edge of rocks, cliffs and climbing high trees? Pratting around on a plastic dog looks a lot safer to me. Anyway are you sure you're not touring Europe again - Perth, Scarborough, Northampton and Denmark don't sound too exotic. Some cracking photo's their son - especially the one with the totty outnumbering the lads. You're probably back in Brisbane now - hope the flight went well and let us know when the eagle has landed in Christchurch. Si Thi. Favva
Bonjour Thanks folks, glad to see the jackster wants to follow in my footsteps. I'm updating the blog in the next few days so keep a lookout for it. Some photo beauties coming up!
PS. Trying to get the Tina Turner pic off someone else so watch this space
Where's the Tina Turner picture then? You've certainly got some fab photos John but we want to know where the Tina Turner one is? Bet you looked brill in that get up! Anyway we think you look 'simply the best' on the surf board. Every bit of your trip sounds fantastic, definitely sounds like you're having the time of your life. Jack wants to do the same as soon as he's old enough but not sure I'd want to read about him swimming with sharks and doing stunts on a quad bike! Anyway keep safe and enjoy the rest of your trip. Looking forward to reading the next blog. Luv Viv, Les and the Jackster.
Re: Update I reckon I'll update the blog just before I head over to NZ, I'll have a bit to talk about then. Thinking on having a few road trips round here, maybe down south to Margaret River etc.... nowt decided yet. I'll keep thi posted squire. Si thi
When's the next update? When are you updating the blog again son? i keep popping on but nothing there since 3rd February. Are you staying in Perth till the New Zealand adventure or moving around Western Australia? Shame you couldn't pop off at Ayre's Rock on the way back but I suppose there's bugger all there bar this big red rock. As they say about Blackpool - it's a long way to go for a stick of rock. Good photos. Si thi. Favva x
Brilliant idea Received your text this morning at 3:45 a.m. - what you doing up at that hour in the morning? Just looked at the weather for Cairns and there's an anti-cyclone heading that way which arrives full throttle on Feb 10th - the uncle isn't far behind her n'all boom, boom! Seriously, there are some stormy days in store so as long as you fly around it you'll be much better off in Perth. If you look at the satellite picture on www(dot)weather(dot)com(dot)au/maps/synsat - the whole of Australia bar that north corner is bathed in sunshine. Perth 5-day forecast is sun, sun and more sun. The other alternative would have been to drive back down the coast back over the Tropic of Capricorn. Sun's still shining in Brisbane as well. A girl at work has a brother in Perth, in fact she's there now for 4 weeks. She says its unbelievably picturesque. You can swim with dolphins in warm, clear turquoise sea, sounds like paradise. Take care and let us know when you get there. Favva xx
Beach Boys on Tour Hi John just read your blog, looks like you've been on the beaches for most of the time, looks fantastic lad. Impressed with the surfing photo could be a proffessional with moves like that, just shows you Pierrepont genes can turn their hand to any sport. You are really seeing some sights now, the places look amazing, really beautiful scenery, these photos are really good you can tell how much space ther is out there. Sounds like you are meeting loads of different people, good photo of you and Dutch lad all be it pissed up, some things don't change eh!!. Got to say John you were unlucky with speeding fine good to know i'm not only one in family to get em. Good to catch up with your trip, i like to know where you are and that you are enjoying yourself. Bye for now John, missing you, Love Mum XX
See any Dingos? Heyup Johnny Boy. Hope you're well rested after that 12 hour drive up the coast to Airlie Beach. How did Fraser Island go then young un? Looks awesome from what I've seen on the net. Deano Bradley's brother Dave works at the Beach Bar in Airlie beach so that would be amazing if you met him. A lad from barely 200 yards away. When Deano was there last year he went on a catamaran tour which he reckoned was brilliant and which also included as much booze and food as you could manage. Might be worth a look. Favva.
Careful Lad Not sure we needed to know about the near miss with the shark and the quad-bike but as long as you're hear to tell the tale, we're all happy. What's it going to be like when you leave the tame stuff behind and head for the Adrenelin rush capital Queenstown, NZ? Some cracking pictures there son - certainly having the time of your life. Si thi. Favva
123 Looks shit, not a patch on my view this aft. Sleet on the windscreen stuck in traffic on the M1 with the car overheating. And no thats not a typo, the car was overheating!!!!!! bleeding smelt like a dead skunk. Anyway get some pictures up of the women you've pulled lad, let us all have a gander.
