Day 1. 23 hours travel starting at 2.30 a.m. Bed in utter luxury in Swissotel Lima. Day 2. Getting things sorted out.Swimming and relaxing. Lunch at a fantastiic restaurant hanging over the Pacific with exotic (and totally unknown) terns nesting under us. Scallops and Sea bass to die for! Day 3. Air conditioned tour of Lima. Islands of ancient culture and beautiful ¡§colonial¡¨ architecture in an ever increasing sprall of half finnished new expansion. Met Sara-Lee and Howard who will be doing the whole trip with us. Day 4. Early flight (one hour) to Cousco. Monasterio Hotel in ancient monastery on previous Inca site. Masses of Coca Tea and two Hour's rest to get used to the altitude.
