Happy happy happy! I'm not happy about the food poisoning, but I"m soooo happy about the pics and to hear about Uyuni! Of course I'm also ecstatic to have a blog dedicated to me---- wooooo--eeeee! :)
Glad you met some fun people though cuz places like that should be a gathering of nice people.
Would you call that a jump? No offense John, but I'm pretty sure you have the least amount of air in that photo - you may be able to constitute that as a hop, or a skip, but never a jump.
Love you!
Thanks? I don't know what to say. Part of me is glad the details of the dreams have been omitted. Part of me is curious of those details. Anyway I am glad to be in your thoughts because you guys are in mine. I hope the trip is still going well and we look forward to hear more about your travels when you get home.
On a side note, Jeannine is not interested in Pete Bjorn and John so it may just be John and I. I have to doublecheck the date of the concert and I will let you know if I grab tickets. Sound good John?
Take Care,
Pete
Bribery will get you everywhere! Something similar happened to me between Peru and Bolivia too! I didn't need a visa at the time, but I did have to bribe the Bolivian border guards $20 to let me in their country. How much money do you think they make in a day?
This is great! It's like I'm traveling with you two silently. Keep up the blogging. I can't wait to hear mas details upon your return. Adios mis amigos
Te amo mucho
and why not... Of course something like that has to happen to you two! It makes like a little more interesting. Safe travels and I hope to hear more from you soon! loves yous;)
Their Insurance agent As they say every cloud has a silver lining. When Josie and John get back home they will have all of their clothing dry cleaned and bagged. They will have a new toilet, walls painted carpet on the floor and much better insulation. They will probably also have a check to buy some misc things that were not to be repaired or cleaned. They will probably have to go stay in a nice motel or hotel while they put there home back in order.
Dayum! Cripes guys! So crazy. I'm glad that I wasn't staying there after all! Maybe it's a good thing you aren't there though - don't have to deal with it. However, here's hoping the pros do a top notch job.
Anyways, You two look/sound like you're having worlds of experiences. Keep up the good work and know we all can't wait until you're home! Lovelovelove you :)
Hey I recognize that cactus! Is that prickly pear? Are the fruits magenta when ripe with lots of round seeds and almost too sweet? We boiled the fruits down and made a backpacking-style jelly in Arizona. Oddly enough they also live in a small pocket in the San Juan islands of WA state....probably braught by birds. I think your mom braught some prickly pear jelly back from Arizona once too?? maybe? More food pictures!
Carpe Diem Hi JoZ and JL! Best wishes for a grand adventure and journal full of great stories to share in the years to come! I wish I could fit in your bag, but, judging by the picture of your luggage on your blog page, you guys travel way too light for that. I'll keep an eye on your blog and send you safe karma for your journey.
