Estimados amigos, aujourd´hui je suis arrivé a Arequipa. Je suis parti de Lima hier a 18h30 pour une arrivée estimée a 9h30. Mais comme toujours, il faut compter sur les imprevus et le bus est tombé en panne. Donc sur le coup des 9h du matin, nous sommes arretés sur le bord de la route. 2 solutions s offrent a nous: Attendre un bus d Arequipa, i e 5h + 5h de route encore, ou alors ils essayent de reparer. Impossible n est pas peruvien, et donc nos gentils chauffeurs se transforment en mécanos hors-pairs et nous reparent le moteur (a priori un probleme de turbo) a coup de colle et de fer a souder. Dear Friends, the ultimate road-trip around Lima is dar from being the least interesting... I have actually lived my remake of Flash ("Flash ou le grand voyage", Charles Duchaussois). Well, I thought a lot about this book during my trip, because of the road-trip and experiences we had before with Mateo. But I did not think we would ever share some of his trips.... Hola todos, depuis mon dernier post a Trujillo, pas mal de choses se sont deroulées. Tout d abord, du a un mauvais planning, j ai du resté une journée de plus a Trujillo, sans rien faire. Ce qui m a simplement permis de me faire refiler des faux billets par 2 petits enc.... de peruviens, genre sympas etc. On a bu des verres, on est sorti en "salsateca" et puis une petite manip de billets en rendant la monnaie et hop ! je me retrouve avec 150 sols que je vais devoir refiler a un gringo, ou en faire des pliages/collages/decoupages pour Noel. Hello buddies !! After a crazy trip to cross the border (see dedicated post), I arrived in Trujillo at 11.00am (initilly planned for 7.00am..), so a nice 14h-trip of bus. Well, I though Peru will be like Ecuador. Let me tell you that I received an electro- shock !! It is 1000 times more lively and messy that Ecuador ! Taxis driving like they are alone, food kiosks everywhere, people and people. I noticed already in Ecuador that people were big fans of klaxons, but in Peru it is a religion ! I believe you can be banned of the country if you dont use the horn every 2 minutes here !! So, I am pretty lost in Piura when I arrive.
