The countdown has begun for my very first trip to Europe. I thought I would create a blog rather than send individual messages to people, oh and of course will post photos. It is so hard to believe that I will soon be in sub-zero temperatures, while I'm sitting in my office typing this at 27 degrees at 8.00am! What am I looking forward to the most? Seeing our "other child" Timo and meeting his delightful mum Nic in person. Over the past few years, even before Timo came to us as a Rotary Youth Exchange Student, we have developed a strong friendship, and I just can't wait to meet her.
