8am bus to Wanaka via a very steep series of switchbacks. Into next AirBNB accommodation dumped the bags and off up Mount Iron. A quiet Italian lunch then out to Stephenson's Island within Lake Wanaka on a cruise boat.... read more
We took a bike ride around much of the edge of lake Wakatipu (lake at Queenstown). Very pleasant weather and once again Jana did great. Although it was sore bum cheeks at the end.... read more
Plane to Te Anau Downs, bus to Milford Sound Quay and Boat out into the sound. Weather was a bit dull but it didn't spoil the scenery or day.... read more
