Lots and lots of love,
Nikki Morgan xxxxx
PS. Morganstock 08 is soooo on! xxxxx
upon closer inspection.. I do beleive that the spider in question could infact be non other than a West African Moon Pin spider, common to Cuba, belgium and and some areas of Poland! It is quite harmless but can easily kill! hmmmmmm back to the lab i think!
James, I need your help....... We have these monster beetles in our garden, which I need you to come and identify for me. For now we have named them "death beetles", mainly because I think they are trying to kill me! They are pretty disgusting looking and VERY scary - I'm sure from that description you'll know what I am talking about!
Hope you guys are well - you are very good at this blogging lark - I thoroughly enjoy reading each installment! Can't think of much to report...James, I saw your mum and sister a couple of weeks ago at a meal for Hannah, they were both on good form! Oh, and Joe and I have moved out - so you'll both have to come round for a bar-b-q when you're back! Which leads me nicely onto my next question.....when are you back??
Sorry for the essay...speak to you guys soon! XxXxXxXxXx
Oooohh Neighbours set!! Yippee...i think we're visiting there in Sept! :O)
Loving the updates - you'll be off to America soon!!
Also - how come Kayley manages to find all these spiders?!!? What's that about - they must know something about you Kayley!
I have booked the 25th June off btw - so i'll be coming to watch you jump...hee hee....
Oh and...what's the stratford festival about? you two are obsessed!
See you very soon!!!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Spiders in pyjamas
Hello, following my long attempts at identification of your spider. My conclusion has left me flinching and itching, there are spiders everywhere! I know it, urgh, yikes. . .
I had my own spider confrontation recently it was not a nice looking spider. Most spiders are disgusting but at least I can see the facination this thing was like an albino piglet, it had 8 legs and two huge front legs/arms that he would try and catch small children and pets with and this mouth was something out of alien. In your honour shippi I caught it, put it in the freezer and then took pictures of it.
Anyway it was disgusting. Look out for brown recluse spiders in the hollywood hills and black widows plus the native tarantulas. . . or more likely in LA - silverfish and cockroaches :) . Although an interesting side you are probably aware of in response to those native species there are "false" tarantula etc which have european roots and mimic the look of those other spiders.
But there are no animals in LA. Except the worst kind of animal - people. But I think you have NZ first? I look forward to the next one. .
Weeeeeee! Ah, it all looks so amazing still! I really can't wait to go! And I can;t wait for you twoto come back as well! I'm loving hearing all your stories, but it'll be better when you can tell them to us for real!!
Love love love love love! xxxxx
Envious James and Kayley
I have enjoyed reading your blog and the photos are fantastic. I am feeling very envious and am now thinking that Dad and I should make the effort to revisit Oz. We are missing you and I am really looking forward to seeing you next month. There isn't a great deal of news to tell you other than Sara has now started her new job in immigration for the Home Office. She seems to be enjoying it so far. Nick and Hannah have been to and are now back from New York. They had a fabulous time. Harry is fine and will be having his short back and sides on Thursday. The weather has been beautiful for several days and Dad and I have been gardening. You will notice a few changes when you get home. Look forward to seeing you soon. Love Mum xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
wargh! Ah, it all looks and sounds so amazing!! I can't wait till me and Matt get to go!!! I definately want to look up Elvis!! Think I might poo my pants a bit tho if I see any really big fish...ha! We will be out camping tonight for my friend's birthday...the weather's not looking too bad at the moment, but nowhere near as nice as it is with you! Glad you're still having an amazing time!! Lots of love from me to you both!!!!

OOh, and great news about Dingo!! xxx
Doggy!! Thank goodness Dingo is okay - I was panicking that the story was not going to turn out well :O(....
Looks like you're both having a great time and enjoying yourselves - despite Doris and her antics!
I played Lenny the other day Kayley - and Ruth did a marvellous job of playing Melody - but I did miss you so...especially when I sung at the end! I made 2 women cry out of emotion!! LMAO!!
Plus...we're being kicked out of The Green Mews cos they're selling our house?! :O( ...so we should have a new place by the time you come back to the UK!
Miss you both very much!
Love me xxxxxxx
It seems like you're having quite a few problems with Doris. You should ask the rental company to give you a discount!
Dingo is cute - I'm not sure Dad or Ophelia would be too happy about him/her coming home though! I'm so tempted to adopt one of the hundreds of strays in Moscow...
aww!! Hey guys, hope you are both well. Just had to say that dingo is sooooooooo cute, I'm actually sat a my computer "awww-ing" out loud! You two are my heroes for saving him (or her?)! XxXx
Pah...some views! Some views?? Kayleys boobs more like...and what a view they are! lol
I want to come to Cairns immediately!!! I would like warm weather and the company of you two please! And Dingo! It's so cool that you got a doggy!...Kayley, I bet you were relieved to get some decent conversation for a change?! :p
When ou uys get back e can have an Australia party and you can pass on all your worldly knowledge and tell stories and we'll have a campfire because Matt will be there and it will be lovely!
Miss you both LOADS! and so glad you're having a great time!!!
Love love love love love! xxxxxx
FINISHING WORK!!!!! Hey little brother!
Just thought I'd write you another comment so that you don't feel too neglected when you sign on tomorrow. I have 3.5 days left at work, yey!!! Then a whole week off before my new job. I think me and Henry are having a romantic day out at West Midlands Saffari Park.....we know how to live the crazy life! We're still house hunting. We saw the most beautiful little terrace house yesterday. Lovely big rooms, warm, wooden floorboards....gorgeous and I want to buy it. Only problem is its in the most scally part of Leamington. We waited outside the house for 20 mins for the estate agent and it was scary. Oh well, we'll keep looking.
Looking forward to the next installment. Speak soon and love to you both, Big Sis Xx
Outback Adventures Spiders?!?! Kayley, I would have been on the first flight home...or at least be making James join me in the toilets.. like he did in stratford that one time (I forgot, I wasn't supposed to mention that)... lol
Thanks for my birthday wishes! I had a lovely time apart from being violently ill a couple of days before hand and then immediately afterwards...still just recovering :O(.
You look like you're having an amazing time! I like the piccy of you on top of the mountain - it's very Britney Spears (I'm not a girl, not yet a woman) video-esque.
Where you heading to next??
Matt xxxx
Life in the Outback I for one am enjoying reading your reports of your adventure, life in the Outback seems to be fantastic, and you seem to be living the adventure to the full. I presume the opals will be made into exotic jewellery for at least Lyn and Sara. Spiders - I cannot believe Kayley was scared of the, albeit poisonous, spider and the man eating cockroach, I though you worked with all those dangerous butterflies. We are just back from Chiang Mai, which was everything you said it would be, though we decided on the one hour flight rather than endure the train ride. We went to the Songkran Festival, The Thai New Year, which involves a ritualistic dousing of water, in practice everybody chucks water, at various degrees of cleanliness, at any hapless person passing, be they on foot, in a car, tuk tuk or on a motorbike - foreigners seem to be particularly popular targets, as I found out to my cost.
Well, enjoy the rest of your adventure, and keep the blogs coming.
All the best, John
Great pics! Wonderful scenery yet again. I think we're both going to be quite bored and unimpressed when we return to the UK! I have a 2 week break in 2 weeks' time, so plan to do a bit of travelling myself - taking a very basic Russian sleeper train should be interesting...
Heaven!!!!! Wow, Barossa Valley and Jacobs Creek! You could have just dropped me off there!
Your photos are brilliant. I'm really getting itchy feet now. Every time I read a new entry I think 'oh thats a good honeymoon idea'. I just have to explain to Henry now that we'll need to take 4 months off for it.
I can't believe you saw a real life dingo. James did your animal management skills have any effect on it?! (They work so well on Harry)
Finish work next Friday and a week off before my new job so definately on wind down now. Henry and I are house hunting as well which is quite exciting. (We can't actually afford anything but its a great excuse to have a nose at other people's houses!)
Anyway the reason I'm leaving such a long is message is so you really don't feel the need to come home!
Love to you both, Sara (and Henry) x
this is not really a comment! Helloooo!!
I thought about not leaving you a comment so you would come home, which is completely selfish of me! Ha! So this is not really a comment, so you can come home, but I'll let you have the rest of your trip first!!
Ah, it all looks so amazing still!! Doris sounds ace...I wish you could bring her back and give her to me....I'm finally booking in some driving lessons today! Argh!
You have to bring your pieces of opal back and have some jewellery made...that would be ace! Don't bring the roadkill back tho..although you could have yourself a little BBQ while you're out there!! Hmm, I wonder how much meat you've eaten Kayley?!?!?
Glad you're still having an amazing time and looking after yourselves! Love reading your blogs!! Can't wait for the next one!
Lots and lots of love,
Nikki!

Sounds as though you are having a great time. I'm really envious. Nothing very exciting has happened at home. Nick and Hannah are going to New York for a few days on 17 April so dad and I will be very quiet. Hope you are still enjoying your trip and that you liked Uluru and Alice Springs, give me a call and let me know. I am back at work now so if you can you can call me at the office. Continue to take care and watch that handbrake. Speak to you soon. Love Mum. xxx
