Thanks Ang! ...and as you know I am a huge fan of your blogs too. The more I write the more I think to add. Its never ending, but super fun. I'm trying to decide if my next blog should be local tales from Denver (kinda like yours) or teacher tales. ???
Isn't it great to see that opera house after thinking about it for a few years. It is a lovely piece of architecture and I found it to be breathless. Sounds like you are having a marvelous adventure.
the perfection of pleasure If you have the means and fail to make the journey, you have not attained completely the happiness and pleasure of worldly riches; indeed, the perfection of pleasure lies in seeing what you have not already seen, eating what you have not hitherto eaten and experiencing what you have not yet experienced. Only by travel can this be achieved.

We beat Long Island RFC 85-8 in the round of 16, then we beat the South Side Irish of Chicago 29-21 in the quarter finals. We meet Pearl City RFC in the semi's at home at Infinity Park on May 31st. Wish you were here to play with us! Don't worry, we'll be back next year too!

nice pics! Your photos are so interesting! You make a wonderful photographer! I am seeing alot of new stuff - very different pics of the city and funny ones too! Sailor says hi and misses you. I am doing ok - flying now and enjoying some travel but not much time to sightsee. I hope to be able to keep in touch with your Dad and Jesse so that we might all be able to get together when you get home - I love you! Mom.
good stuff I like the the shots of the old buildings and the plaza. The street performers remind me of the old 16th st. mall in Boulder. Jesse and I dropped in on Jerry Yarbrough Tues. night. it was good to see the old friend. Sara goes to college in Maryland at George Washington College. Jessica is in her junior year at AWest. Soccer has a consuming effect on them. How is the teaching going? I have had enough of travel for now. Denver to Orlando, South carolina, Hurley, NY, Utica, NY and ajoining areas then back to Co. Again keep up the photos. Love Dad
Glendale Wins League Dain-Train, we got word back on our appeals and we won. In our inaugural season in Division I we take 1st. Pretty cool! Are you playing at all? Have a few Quilmes for me! Vive Rosario Central! ---Tafel
Great stuff I thought you might find some colonial buildings and architecture. Nice pics. Labor was plentiful years gone by there fore the ornate detail was affordable. Evita, was quite the character in Ar.'s more recent history. How goes the employment? Thanks for the dove hunting info. By the way, shot birds two weeks ago and had a local restaurant cook them up. Excellent meal, best pheasant I have ever eaten. Love Ya Dad
Doggie Heaven Did you see the video I posted under "Tail End" It was the nature reserve in El Calafate, it was hilarious! We made friends with a couple of dogs, they weren't even begging, just liked human company I suppose. In Bs As, there are sooo many strays. All seem to have some sort of German Shepard descent, at one point. There is a stray goldie I see outside our bldg. from time to time, he is the closet to a pure bred stray I've seen. We see a few of the shaggy, grey and white dogs around as well. Pet owners tend to have boxers, pit bulls, Yorkshire terriers, poodles or other toy dogs. Interesting to me, I have met quite a few silver Mastifs, I really like them! Funny enough, the stray dogs seem happier than the dogs with owners!
Bidet Oh, I totally forgot to mention our bidet. I like bidets too! This one is off balance and is super water pressured that shoots up to the ceiling! So funny...
good game last week, sorry about the outcome!
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your photos are awesome!! Dain, I feel like I know you. Glad you survived your 25th!!!! Keep it coming. Makes my handwritten journals of our trips seem soooooo antique - no internet back then. Take care and keep having adventures - don't you love public transport in foreign countries!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love, Stacey
“When we get out of the glass bottle of our ego and when we escape like the squirrels in the cage of our personality and get into the forest again, we shall shiver with cold and fright. But things will happen to us so that we don’t know ourselves. Cool, unlying life will rush in.” - D. H. Lawrence... full info
