Goaloso! Another amazing travel blog - better than the weekend papers. (Actually, you could easily distill this into a travel article - Jackson you just need to put it all together). Ball skills of local sound pretty incredible, and added to that all of the players looked to be at their peak of fitness.
Here in Melbourne we have the clash of the titans with Phil playing Michael in a golf match ( a Christmas present for Michael). Also happens to be Phil's birthday, but that probably will not influence Michael's play. Huge wet weather weekend in Melb with several suburbs drenched and transformed into mini Venices.
Happy travelling, love Michaela
Mexican cantina Your Mexican Kitchen Rules! I hope you were able to keep the aprons - Andrew, clearly had a bit of divine intervention to assist him cooking up a storm. We will expect chocolate sauce with next BBQ!
Cool blog Jacko Hi Jacko
Excellent blog. Totally with you on the coolness of sloths - it's what makes your dad so cool too.
3 goals in a south american football match!!!!! I'd just retire after that, but I think you'd beter keep going.
Please say Hi to the olds and Happy New Year!
Michael
Mairiachi music Hi Jenny, Andrew and Jackson Wow - I want to go everywhere you guys are. This travel blog is now my travel planner for sometime in the future. It all sounds so wonderful - particularly the music and dancing in Mexico City. Looking forward to hearing about Cuba. And greetings from Melbourne where...(well something must happen)... I guess I just need to go out and look for it.
Happy 2011!, Michaela xx

re-visiting Nicaragua Hi Jenny, Andrew and Jackson
What a great experience to revisit this community. I feel inspired by their hard work and the hope for the future that the community holds - Thanks for these interesting blogs. Michaela xx
The Beauty and the Terror The next line after her beauty and her terror is "the wide brown land for me", referring to Australia. Andrew, you are very brave.
hey there amigos hey Jenny and Andrew and Jackson, the star by the sounds of it! sounds like youre gettting a bit of footie in, how lucky and fun! looks great and wild with the 3 feet on the bridge.
were all getting our wellies out and shaping up the decorations on the ark, in case we need to float out of here for christmas... no mostly queanbeyan, but the waters receding now. poor buggers, all those vegie gardens under water! tres dramatic for them i'd say...
you look like youre enjoying the places
thats good!
have good weekend there, anyway
talk to you again soon
Rosie
armchair tourist oh my god. it looks fantastic. I want that bridge. I do NOT want that slide. Still keeping that scrapbook of Jackson's soccer spots? Happy belated birthday Andrew. Love the diversity of your reports back. Always interested in flora, fauna, touristy things and personal anecdotes.
wistful sigh... HI. Great blog. I loved san jose but haven't thought about it for a while. There was a wacky restaurant that all the mariachis ended up in at the end of the night and then play very loudly for the rest of the evening to the wee hours of the AM - i was staying just above it...if its still there its worth a visit (and if you can stay up late at night). Its muy famoso so you will be able to find it if its still there. Como es tu espanol??muy bien. Glad to see Jackson is mixing it with the locals...he could come back with some tricky new tactics. keep having fun - Margarita
armchair tourist Hi All
thanks for sending through the link to your travel blog. Am enjoying watching your holiday unfold in front of me. Congratulations on finding the Cuban Embassy. Maybe Jackson could start a scrapbook - countries I have played soccer in. (Not to mention, countries I have puked in!) Keep us posted. No news from Oz other than more rain, floods in Wagga, Queanbeyan rained in and SES swamped with phone call.s
ciao
We are travelling in Central America, Mexico and Cuba for 2 months. We have much we want to get from this trip - to revisit families we met in Nicaragua 23 years ago; to improve our Spanish skills; to visit good friends in Mexico; to learn about the enigma that is Cuba; and especially for Jackson to play football with latino kids that share his passion. ... full info
