Nadia is a 32 year old woman working and living in Cairo, Egypt as an Elementary homeroom teacher. Nadia is of mixed ethnicity. She's half Irish, half Egyptian and was born in Montreal, Canada but raised in the Middle East. Nadia holds two University degrees; A BA in Business Administration (MIS) recieved from AAST in 2000 and An International certification in Elementary Education from TCNJ in 2008.
Nadia's work with children has lead her to launch a career as an author for children's stories as well as writing for local English Egyptian magazines. Nadia's passion for educating and sharing her cultural experiences led her to startin a joint blog with her good friend 'Doc', Wesam Masoud. Their blogs discuss and inform the local Egyptiane, ex patriot communities and tourists about what life in Egypt is really like for those living and working here and they offer helpful tips on how to get around, how to do things, places to eat out and activies.
When Nadia isn't teaching or writing you can find her traveling between Alexandria and Cairo, attending shows at the Cairo Opera House and Sawy Cultural Wheel, out to dinner with friends, trying out new recipes, curled up reading a book, watching movies, jet setting, relaxing on the sea shores or by a pool side. attending trips with the group 'Weekend Trips' and attending Salsa workshops and dance classes.
