Thanks so much for such a detailed account of your day and for all the pictures! Tessa, you got to pet a camel! I hope you got a picture :) Believe it or not, we are still waking up to snow every few mornings. It is snowing right now! Nothing like the heat you are experiencing. Lots of love and prayers being sent your way!
Awesome Thanks for sharing your experiences with us...I know God's hand is on this trip...my family has been praying for you and we will continue to do so

Karen sent your address. We thank God you arrived safe and sound. We are praying for you daily. Karen says Caleb is doing fine but I am sure he will be excited to see you again when you get back home. We love you. Take care.
The blog is wonderful and we are so excited to share in your adventure. With the exception of the almost missing passport, it sounds and looks like you are well looked after. Have an awesome time. We wish we were there.
Hi Anne! I am Anne's teaching partner and I just wanted her to know that I continue to send her and the group prayers for safety and the ability to enjoy this amazing opportunity. I am glad to hear that you all arrived safely! I will continue to read of all of your adventures which I am already jealous of.....sounds so exciting. Please say hi to her and Stephen for me. Thank you, Judy :)
wow I am in tears. (and I'm in my office at work and my employees regard me as someone with little emotion so this is a bit bizarre for them)
so ..... wow again.
So excited for you! We (church staff) shared in your adventures over lunch today. What a trip so far and to be welcomed in such a way by all of those kids....awesome!
Stay safe, shine on!
I hope it was a spelling error......... The teacher in me hopes the comment at the top of the Day 3 post was a spelling error.... "the best we can do at this time...but BARE with us! "
Now I know it is very hot in India and that the team may be looking for support from back home, but it is far too cold here for us to BARE with the team in India.
Hopefully this was a spelling error and the word should have been "bear".
Thanks!!! Thanks for the interesting updates! Amazing how the loss of Passport, so early in trip, brought them together in prayer and reminded them of their need of God in every situation! Of course, grateful in got in the hands of an honest person and it was found!!!
Wow! Just read your comments...quite a trip...thankful to God for a safe arrival! The team is constantly on our minds...and we pray for you every time the Mission comes to mind. Looking forward to receiving the other updates. Blessings.
Wow! What an exciting and welcoming entrance! It is so great to get updates on your experiences. Can't wait for the next one!
Love and prayers,
Sherrene

Team Arrives at School Safe and Tired! I will try a blog entry again as requested by the team but I don't think it will be published until it is reviewed by someone on the team....
Received a text message at 1:45 am this morning from the team. Wasn't home yet. (Just kidding, Anne if you read this - I have been home since you have been away cleaning windows, doing laundry, vacuuming, ec) Thankfully my phone was on vibrate and in another room. Here is the message:
"Internet not working so well at the school so wondering if you could post this on the blog. We are safe and sound at the school and will update when internet is back up. Everyone is tired but doing great!"
Team Arrives Safe....and Tired! Received a text from a team member at 1:45 am this morning. Thankfully, my phone was on vibrate and in another room. Here is the message for all to hear:
"Internet not working so well at the school so can you put a comment on the blog that we are safe and sound at the school. Will update when internet is back up. Everyone is tired but doing great!"
Answered prayer Praying for your team. Have been on missions trips and know that anxious feeling when things don't run smoothly all the time. Picturing the group praying in the midst of a busy airport is wonderful. I am sure it is just the perfect first lesson God is teaching. Unity in the group as you trust God to provide and lead you in these days. Wish I were there but will join the group by praying.
During March Spring Break 2012 a team of 12 youth, young adults, and teachers ventured into the rural and urban provinces of Nagpur and Dhule, India. The mission: to build relationships, teach english, and experience the culture of the two international schools of Prem Sewa. A quick two weeks abroad but memories that will last a lifetime - Let Light Shine!... full info
