What a Journey!!! Travel is always an adventure (including hotel hell). When we get together next, I hope you'll let me weave some of your experiences into some of the novels I'm planning to write.
Talk to y'all soon!
~David
In Nepal! Ina and Manuel,
You two in Nepal, what a TRIP! I want to know what your impression is of THE TAJ. If it is absolutely out of this world, I'll go there. Tom and I were in East Africa on safari in Dec. and I fell completely in love with it...wildlife, national parks, people, food, landscape, the whole scene. Reminds me of Mexico to some extent. Contact us when you return to MX. We'll be in touch.
Lots of love,
Mary
maya says Hola, really good to here from you, we've been very worried about you and the area you were traveling in. I showed your fever picture to maya and she was very sad for you, "I hope she is OK".
Please take care of yourselves. Much Love.
C.L.
Wow!! I hope you both seriously think about writing, if not a book, then at least a series of articles about your experiences. Andrea's back in Mexico from the jungle - I'll make sure she sends y'all an e-mail about Caracol
Love ya both!!!

Hey Guys, It is good to hear from you again. We were worried after you disappeared into India. I am enjoying the world through your eyes with every update. The pictures and descriptions are glorious. Post some pictures of the food as well. Keep your public informed. When does your Travel Channel series start?

One night in Bankok... Hey Guys - we were getting a touch worried (I had visions of sending Andrea off with a suitcase full of cash, which she would've spent on other things once she discovered you were alright). I've always regretted not being able to visit Thailand when I was stationed overseas, so I'm visiting vicariously through your pictures.
Victor Palamino has me doing a presentation for Last Guardian at the Hendersonville library feb 20th, and Malaprops has me reading with 2 other authors Feb 23rd. I'll let y'all know how that goes!
David

Photos like paintings A couple of your photos reminded me of some Chinese screens my grandmother had a long time ago, with the bridge and the mountains in the background. I know I'm going to keep saying this, but thank you so much gfor sharing your adventures!!!
Last Guardian is out and I've got a copy I'm holding back for you guys. When you're at a place where you'll be for a while, let me know and I'll send it out DHL (or FedEx, US post office, whatever will work). Love ya both Mucho!!

South-China looks great, the foto at the lake with the steep mountains reminds me of Milford Sound in New-Zealand, a place I tought was the most beautiful on earth but now that I've seen this stuff hmmm amazing. Next stop is Laos? If there are some questions don't hesitate to ask me. Enjoy, greetz Stan

"I wanna hang a map of the world in my house. Then I'm gonna put pins into all the locations that I've traveled to. But first, I'm gonna have to travel to the top two corners of the map so it won't fall down".
"Quiero colgar un mapa del mundo en mi casa. Luego voy a poner tachuelas en todos los lugares a los que he ido. Pero primero, voy a tener que viajar a dos esquinas del mapa para que no se caiga".
