Linc oln Mall I was there last Sunday, helping a friend with her antique bookend display. They have special events every other weekend, right there in the Mall. Lovve the place. Your blog brought back so many fond memories - we did EXACTLY the stuff you are doing. Favorite anchorage too. We have a friend who lives on Hibiscus Island.
Great Blog Wonderful to see you back cruising again. Iona spend the last few summers cruising Lake Charlevoix in NW Michigan. This summer we will have a slip at Mackinaw City. Our daughter and family live on Mackinac Island so we expect lots of sailing with grandkids. Crissie spent the last 2 years teaching middle school math in Cairo, Egypt. If you decide to do the Great lakes, please look us up.

Hi Christian & Mary, Thanks for linking us to your blog. Yes, we remember very well the different colors of the seas. Hope the weather is better than in Florida, this winter. What are your plans? Are you heading to any other Caribbean countries on this trip? All is well with Mark and I. We just celebrated our 31st wedding anniversary and that is quite a milestone! Mark says it's cold. He's still working on his boat. Mark just got a new PLB, for our next lengthy cruise. Not sure when that will be, but I can tell you that I am ready. For now, we will be sailing with you, in spirit. We got to do a few short cruises on our McGregor. We even trailered her over to the west coast and enjoyed sailing in the Gulf, this past fall. Stay safe and keep warm! Love, Mark & Helen
Jealous I think you two are the luckiest people I know. To be able to sail anywhere in the world is awsome. We are in St. Leonard MD, near Solomons< Staying at Chip's girl friends. We leave tomorrow for South Carolina, to my cousins, then on to Orlando on Tuesday. We are attending the Power Squadron National Meeting and then visiting frienmds near Bradenton before heading home.
I am District Admin officer this year and Exec next year and the following year I will be District Commander. Scarry./ Anyhow that is why we are attending meetings.
God Speed and Good Health,
Charlie & Judy
Bon Voyage! Hi Mary,
Thanks so much for a great blog report! Doesn't the boating life just send you a curve on an unpredicatbly regular basis? Gotta love it!
Looking forward to future reports and pics!

a note from the chilly north Glad to hear you're back on board and everything is in good working order. We are heading south 01.24 with stops in MD to see Chip and SC to see Chas' cousin then to Orlando for USPS annual meeting the first week in 02. After we will go to St. Petersburg to visit a family friend (my "courtesy" aunt) who will be 104 years old 02.10. We will go to see friends in Sun City and surrounding area then meander home when the spirit moves us. Chas is administrative officer for District 6 at present and in March will become the executive officer and will be D-6 Commander the following year. Our lives are busy! Karen's girls will be 16 in June, are consistently on the high honor roll and applied to go on a mission/leadership trip to Northern Ireland next summer and were all accepted. It would be a understatement to say they are excited. We now have a cruiser because Chas has a fused right ankle, a total prosthetic left knee, a now repaired right rotator cuff and soon will be a candidate for a right hip--he has his mother's arthritis genes. We will be married 49 years next month--those years have flown by--and life is good. May the Peace of the Lord be with you both and may you have fair winds...
Always, Judy
blog Glad to be on your blog. By just clicking onto the blog.... I am officially on... right ? If I want Bob Jr and Chris to see it what do I do ? Of course love the kitty pics too.
Looking Great We head for Fl on the 24th. I have a meeting at DEisney with the Power Squadron from Feb 2 thru 5 and then off to friends south of Tampa. Probably home by end of Feb.

Chas

hi Happy New Year!!!
Sure love the blog and pictures reminded me of places I have been.
Lots of snow up here but not as much as Maine.
Ruth and I were suppose to leave for Fl last Fri but she had to have a pacemaker put it so plans are to leave this Fri after she gets the OK from MD on Thurs. Looks like Fl is not too warm.
Last year I took Ruth to Cumberland Island and she liked it. One of my favorite places. Just wish we had more time to spend in St Mary's. That was a lovely town.
Love to both Jeanne
Met you in the laundry-mat Hi Mary and Christian,
Finally got a chance to go on-line to look at your blog site. You put .net in the web address, but soon we figured it to be .org. Very nice lay-out and presentation. We will be looking at all your info on the Bahama's. Will be leaving Charleston, Monday a.m. Safe travels and thank you for sharing. sherry and Bill
Great story Hi you two Mary and Christian!
It is so nice to hear from you and to see that you are still enjoying your boat.
We wish you a great trip and wonderful fun filled days.
We love to read about your adventures, because we have no boat, our horizon III is sailing somewhere in the Pacific.
Take care and be safe.

Falll colors I too love fall. So many fols are sad this time of year with the fading light but for some reason I LOVE IT. I think because I was raised in the Midwest (Central flyway) and it was hunting and Halloween and candy and honking overhead... I didn't see fall FOLIAGE until we moved to BOSTON and we were hooked. Lived 17 yewars in wonderful northern NY. Only bad thing was the fall didn't last LONG enough. Now mind you... I am prtetty fond of SPRING too after 6 months of winter!!! The Bahamas don't reallhy get spring, do they??
Fall is Fun Hi I Wanda, Great to hear your traveling news and the pictures are superb. We took two short fall trips and enjoyed being on the go. It is peak fall colors on the hill across from us and all around in the valleys and hills. Yea, fall!
Thanks for the pictures! Christian & Mary. Thanks for another set of wonderful photographs. Good sailing on your trip south. Jill isn't quite up to traveling long distances yet, so we won't be on Martha's Vineyard before early October, if then. However, we hope to touch base with you in Annapolis.
Happy Anniversary Hi...as always we love the blog. Hope you have a great trip south and are looking forward to seeing you in the Bahamas..in Salt pond, Long Island. Have a great anniversary..Love you, Mike and Dawn
We have been cruising on our Nichloson 40 pilot house sloop "I Wanda" since the summer of 1993. In the early years we cruised from Maine to the Bahamas with our teenagers and now we visit them by boat. In 2003 we crossed the Atlantic via Bermuda and the Azores, and spent 3 years cruisng the Med. Kitties have nearly always accompanied us.... full info
