Two Good News!
Yes Bob, first it's good to hear from you after a while. And two good news: First, your PSA dropped next to none...wonderful! Second, your son's liver is fine. Amid the disastrous news lately from all over the world, your two good news brought some peace of mind. And of course, the pictures from the reunions are priceless. Thank you and stay safe!

WOW!
Great old photos...and great travels. I worked at Thammasat University until 2008 and loved South East Asia! My wife worked at Sarasas.

Wow! Unexplained medical miracles are amazing enough, but to see the miracle actually happening in real time on a scientific monitor...there are no words for that. Praise be to God.

Galfridus...
and my 27th great grandfather. That's very interesting! Did any of my family tree mentioned in my blog intersect with yours further on down the line? Do you have a family tree on Ancestry.com? Where do you live?

Wonderful memories!
What a unique idea to do this. I am visiting Brussels for the sixth time, next month, to attend the Andrea Bocceli concert in Antwerp for my birthday. We stay with our close friend and my wife's cousin who is a diplomat based there. I can't get over the idea of your approach. It must be fun to go over these accounts with your family.

Thanks for your comment...
Enjoy Brussels...again!

Well, here goes...
Dear Bob and Linda, You guys have certainly been around the block! I admire your stamina and hope that mine is equal to reading all about your travels from an armchair. Any chance of adding San Miguel de Allende to your agenda? This is not a plug, because we are usually well-booked up, but we do run an air b&b that might interest you. Just google: Casita Mimosa San Miguel de Allende. You might decide that this town and nearby Guanajuato deserve to be seen and experienced. If you can find someone to hang out with Bonnie, maybe Linda can come with you?

Well, here goes...
I Googled your AirBNB...it is so beautiful! I'll have to check airfares, etc. and will add it to my list.

My Dad visits with his old Chinese congregant and family

All things Tibetan. Bob, from the spelling of your name, you are the son of William D. Carlsen, correct?
You may or may not know that I am working on a history of missions in and around Tibet, focusing on C&MA as well as other missions. I would love to talk with you some time. I love the photos and would like to use some of them for the book. You may have heard from Kristin Rollins about this project that I am working on. I finished last year the new biography of A. B. Simpson, "A. B. The Unlikely Founder of a Global Movement." Blessings, Dave Jones

Pilgrimage and Old England
I love reading your writings on my country, as seen as a tourist. It really is a beautiful country. I very much like your way of doing a pilgrimage also, probably the way I would do it as well. I too believe the horse tried to kiss you, not bite! ?

We are actually hiking for a week this summer. We will start in Canterbury and walk towards Rome. We will stop hiking somewhere in northern France. Perhaps we will continue the hike som other year. We are hiking because we enjoy it. /Ake
