So arriving in Saigon ( sounds so much nicer than Ho Chi Minh City) was a big change from Phnom Penh. Cleaner, wider streets, crazy traffic but all together a much nicer vibe. Most of the Cambodia group went their own way but four of us continued on. I had a whole day before meeting the new group so decided to visit the Independence Palace. I got there for 7.45 am thinking it would be quiet, no chance it was overrun with huge groups of Chinese tourists. They were so loud inside I could hardly hear the audio.
