What a trip! Looks like you had a great time. Great pictures- loved seeing them all. Hard to believe it's done already. So sorry to hear about your Mom- that must have been hard being so far away while she was going through all that. How does she feel about moving into a nursing home? If I know you, she's probably in a great facility which you had all prepared for just such an occurrence. I know you're going to be super busy catching up- hopefully we can chat soon. Hugs to you & your Mom.

world tour thanks, Pat, for the wonderful commentary on the '11 world tour. Can't say it's the same as being there but it certainly brought so many warm and fuzzy feelings of our trip 4 years ago.
We will be looking forward to the information on the southern hemisphere world tour. Of course we'd have to be in your group!
So glad you're home with your mom.
Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
Love and best wishes,
Dawn and John

The blogs Hey Pauline, it was my pleasure to share our travel adventures with you.
I know that we live fairly close to each other and I look forward to staying in touch with Kari. She is a delight and someone I would love to get to know better.
Thanks again for your kind notes. Have a great day. I'm off to be with my Mom again - she is doing well - has some big adjustments in the new nursing home (which is temporary till a room is available in Stratford - another major move/change for her) - she's an amazing woman - turns 89 in 2 weeks.
Pat
Love the photos I've really been enjoying the photos of your travels Pat. It's starting to give me that travel itch again thinking about my own adventurous times in the past. Thanks!
Golden Circle Thanks so much for allowing us for all your hard work which allowed us to share your adventure - what a trip. I've never seen anything like it! I sure have a long list of places to see on my bucket list!!! I know your Mom will be thrilled to see you. Take care!

The World is not North America Only! :-) Hi Pat,
I LOVE your comment that is the title of my post! The world is to be discovered!!!
Love to see your blog and pictures! Iceland makes me think a little bit of New Foundland and Geyser makes me think of New Zealand!
What a journey! Thanks Pat for your fabulous blog. We loved every moment; the descriptions, the photos, the emotions! I hope your Mom feels better. KIndest regards, Diane
Iceland - Nice Land ! Pat,
I remember our previous trip to Iceland w/Travel Guild, I really enjoyed it so much especially Blue Lagoon, and you eating an ice cream bar w/Susan. Hope all goes well with your Mom.
Many thanks, Pat! We have so enjoyed your witty commentary & gorgeous photos of this year's World Tour. Thanks for sharing it with us. Hope to join next year's Tour.
the end of the great trip Pat, I really enjoyed reading your daily blog...it was ALMOST as good as being there in person!! You did a fantastic job of photos and daily descriptions...just loved them. I'm glad that Brenda 'spa'd her way around the world!! ha ha. Have a great trip home! All good things must come to an end but you have some wonderful memories. Looking forward to being with my BF Brenda (tell her Doug & I have found a great gentleman that she may like to get to know!! LOL!!! ...as if!)
Thanks! It's really wonderful to experience, albeit vicariously, the many adventures you folks have had on what must have been (to date) a fantastic trip! I'm sure those of us at home who look forward to reading your daily blogs will have to find other things to do when you're all back in Canada. Thanks for providing us with such vivid descriptions of your trip! Perhaps one of these days....I'll just have to keep buying those Super Max and 649 tickets! Well done, and, once again, thanks so much for doing such an excellent job!!! The blog has been a "great read", one I've looked forward to every day.
Welcome to my travel blog! I'm about to head off on another adventure.
Many of you, on this list, signed up when I was blogging for the World Tour for Travel Guild - this trip is not associated with that group - it is a totally different adventure. So, if you choose NOT to follow, just click 'unsubscribe' and you will no longer hear from me!
If, on the other hand, you do want to follow - I'm excited.
We're going to be travelling to Zambia, Zimbabwe and I will be speaking in Johannesburg on International Women's Day - and I have the honor of blogging the trip for YOU! I'll be writing... full info
