We arrive to a blazing 34 degrees in Moscow at 7am! After a little chill out at the station, we found ourselves totally caught up in the commuter time on the metro. London had nothing on this. But it did all seem to work pretty efficiently, so it kept things moving, it was just the heat that was bordering on unbearable. One of the things that struck me about the metro was how incredibly deep it was, but yet, there were such high ceilings and a lot of space down there. It almost felt like the platforms were similar to those at Paddington Station and were lit quite spectacularly, or at least, differently! Anyway, again, visited most of the usual sights including St Basils, commissioned by Ivan The Terrible. He didn't do such a bad job
