hello Hi Doug and Lorraine.
The trip sounds wonderful - the photos are just beautiful. Makes me wonder why we all want to travel overseas when we have that beauty at our doorsteps . Time for the offspring to come home so we can stay in NZ!!!! So glad you are taking your time and really enjoying it ( well for the most part- engines aside)
Janet
Wow! Hiya
Love the photos, everything looks so clean and green. Hope you are having a fantastic time and looking forward to hearing and seeing more of the trip. By the way, Papa Tip is on Te Aurere and tracking down from the far North as we speak, if you want to see where they are at any one time the site is www.teaurere.co.nz click on Waka Tracker and you are able to see where they are. You never know, you might run (or is it float?) into them.

Hi, I'm Doug Nicol, and these are the stories about sailing around parts of New Zealand, some of the South Pacific and eastern Australia in my 36 foot yacht Hakura (Maori for Grey's beaked whale).
