England! I had the best time while in England! It was such a wonderful mini Singapore reunion. I wish it didn't go by so fast and that everyone could have been there. Nonetheless, it was amazing. I flew to England via IcelandExpress Airlines. They were a very cheap option, costing only $395 to get to England from Newark, NJ. To get to Newark, NJ from Buffalo, NY I took a Southwest Airline flight that had a layover in Baltimore. I have a few friends who live in the D.C area so I tried to get a later flight so that my layover would be longer and I could have to possibility to see them. Unfortunately, Southwest doesn't work that way but I had one friend, Betty Tam, who made the effort to drive from DC to ... read more

This east coast road trip has taken us 1,665 miles into adventure after adventure. I can barely believe it is already over and I am sitting at the Newark, NJ airport waiting for my flight to London. I had an amazing time with Alex. Even though I had come to help drive, Alex insisted on driving the entire way the first day. I didn't mind not driving, it was nice to be able to really soak in the scenery. The first night of the road trip, we stayed at her friend Hal's place. They know each other from when they both worked at Barnes and Nobles in Florida. Hal is starting grad school at UNC at Chapel Hill and was able to give us a bit of a tour of the campus. Chapel Hill is a ... read more

On the road again! On the road again! :D This trip is going to be nonstop for the next 2 weeks and I love it! Seeing Alex again has been wonderful. She's a wonderful person doing great things and I'm so proud of her. The whole reason behind this road trip is to get her up to Buffalo, NY so she can start her PhD program in PT. I can just tell that she is so passionate about this path and that many people will benefit from her knowledge and heart in the future. We left her home state of Florida this morning and have already gotten into minor mishaps. Google maps doesn't notify you when you should make a new move and we missed an exit. So as a result we ended up passing through ... read more

Here I go again! Today marks the first day of my new adventure. Exciting and unknown experiences lie ahead. This is a whole different kind of experience from my seven months of study abroad in Southeast Asia. There are many stops along the way and I don’t exactly have an end date to mark my return to the states. This is what makes this experience so different. I have set plans till about March at the moment but things still are murky as to exactly where I will be and how long I will be there for. So here’s a bit of an outline so far: Today, August 14th: Fly to Ft. Myers, Fl to meet Alex (my best friend) to then turn around and help her move to Buffalo, NY. We will be doing an ... read more
