on the road again Even though you're already well into your journey I just wanted to say it's good to see you on the road again! I can't believe it's been over a year since I stopped receiving your travelblogs that I had so grown accustomed to reading during your mammoth journey.
Happy travels!
Change of Plans Not sure where you are now Gus, but wanted to let you know that our Xmas party is now on Fri 30/11 at our fav. Goan restuarant. Give us a call if you can come.
change Hi, I enjoyed your blog and the humour. It is an amazing country with amazing people. I was there in January 07 and found myself 'teaching' in a school in Rangoon, and what an experience it was! So I am going back tomorrow for another month Burmese bliss.
Thanks, and tell your friends they need books and teachers.
Kevin.

Me Too I really liked Istanbul as well, which surprised me. A little different, I like big cities and I really thought Istanbul would be slow boring and backwards, but like you, I really enjoyed it and will be back to visit.
I can't believe it's all over! It's seems like WE have only just got back and were expecting to be reading your blogs for ages yet.
It just feels like I've stopped travelling again after reading your last blog.
When you get home sit back, have a breather and then start planning your next trip - come back to Blighty for more than a day!
wow! thanks! es indeed it was an odessy. I shall miss your blogs which I have been following for 11 months! the thing that will save me will be that I am leaving for Argentina on the 9th March so I shall be occupied in my own blog-land. I'm there for tango but no doubt will get much much more. Your south American blogs were what drew me to your postings in the first place and then I got hooked!.... Happy travels!...You know that from now on you'll new stop being a traveller.....
Magnet Hey Ges wish I was there with you eating yummy food! Did have Vietnamese spring rolls with Christina and Alvin today, and they tell me you're back next week! I've given them your stuff, so hopefully it will find its way back to you. Alas, the bolivian fridge magnet from Dan is still in Hobart, but it will find its way to you I promise!
See you soon!
Like your photos of beautiful ancient structures as well as eveyday life and photos of the regular people apart from tourist areas. Wonder if there's any movement to ban Neck Rings as it seems male chauvinstic like bound feet for women causing much pain?
The pictures ¿Can you send me the pictures of the travel across the Yungas in a high resolution? IT´S VERY IMPORTANT TO ME, THANKS

How bizzare! I think I was sitting behind you when you were doing this blog at the A-Z queen cafe! Look like you had a better time than we did in Sa Pa as it was all fog for us. People were pretty cool though wern't they.
Good luck on the rest of your trip and great photos.
Richard
Yay Ges! Hey Ges,
Very jealous of your travels as always, good to see you managed to get to Israel, looks amazing. Glad to hear that Vietnam is as chaotic as I remember. Take it you're heading north? Eat pho and bum boa saw for me, there's no good Viet in Hobart!
Love Siah
