A contribution in case they find archaeological elements. Hello:
I would like to make a contribution in case someone finds archaeological elements. There is a website that offers advice in this area:

In case it serves to someone.
Goodbye.
Enjoyed Hi enjoyed reading your trip through Puglia. It has been our destination for past 6 years. Have gotten to know so many families at Masseria and b&bs. Too bad so many tourists never make it this far south.
Really helpful info thank you Was trying to work out if we could bus to Casablanca from Valpo and then bike: your suggestion to base a tour round Emiliana is perfect. Thank You!
rosario Hi...I am from Rosario...just landed on your blog by chance, I was looking for something else. Just wanted to tell you that none of the old buildings are "spanish colonial": Rosario was founded in 1793 and Argentina got independent in 1810.....no buiding from these 17 years survived. As far as I know, there is no bulding from earlier than 1860 or so.
Spanish Colonial The architecture certainly seemed influenced by the Spanish Colonial, but thank you for correcting our error. That is why we travel, and write about our experience and what we see: to learn. We would happily return to Rosario, and to Argentina (despite the rugby team dumping the Irish out of the tournament yesterday, and we being Irish!).
No rain in February? Hey, thanks for this wonderful blog entry! I am considering going to Machu Picchu, and I would like to go in February because it is cold over here, but what I am reading is there is a lot of rain. But you don't mention it at all in your blog! Do you remember any rain?
Rain in February in Machu Picchu Hello Stephane: Yes, we experienced a sudden and heavy rain storm when walking back to the village, but the experience of visiting Machu Picchu and the subsequent interesting journey back to Cusco must have removed it from our memory when we were writing about it. Our advice would be don't let the possibility of rain deter you from an incredible experience. Thank you very much reading and commenting on our blog. Enjoy your journey, Greg and Joan
Similar Experience We had a similar experience. The young women at the front desk was very rude and unhelpful! She was to busy playing on FaceBook. We too lost out on credits and have decided not to shop in the store again.
Saying hello Hello Greg and Joan, as always a very pleasurable to read report of your travels. I hope you are well and did not get stuck in the earthquake event. Take care, Gabi.
Chile and Earthquakes We have moved from Chile and into Argentina. We are currently in Mendoza, a city that was entirely destroyed by an earthquake in 1861!
places to live in Quito my husband and i are considering moving for Cuenca to Quito and having trouble finding real estates to find a apartment to rent are there any good sites that we see apartments and set up a date to see them, also if you any good infor on doctors that speak english would be very helpful. Thank you
So much interesting information almost makes me want to be on the road in South America again. Thank you for your wonderful blogs. I read everything! Safe travels!
high rise apartments i am sure i would be disappointed if i returned. my friends lived on the 5th [top] floor of the only high building in barranco. their building was an eyesore, but it was the best place to live, as you saw not your own but the old buildings and el puente de suspiros [the bridge of sighs] and, of course, the mist.
ceviche 5 minutes? i left mine for at least an hour. i suppose the lime/lemon is the main factor in it being the world's tastiest hangover cure. i tried making it in europe but the limes are not acidic enough to get a good result.
Now this is what I think of as a quality blog. !Such beautiful pictures! I made this same trip on the 19th of Jan. 2014. The bus to Ibarra was supposed to stop at Ibarra on it's way to Quito. I thought that would mean at the Terminal. Our intention was to get the bus to Cotacachi, where we live. I was wrong. No Terminal, just stops at the side of the road. With great concern and enthusiasm I used my whole vocabulary of 43 Spanish words to communicate this need to arrive at Cotacachi ( not Quito, some 2 hours farther down the road. Then the bus did an extraordinarily remarkable thing. Just outside the Cotacachi turnoff it pulled off the Pan American Highway....directly in front of the bus to Cotacachi. With much laughter on the part of the people in front seats and the conductor of the bus he told us to hop off and run to get our bus. Amazing. Sophia
Aruba - Sounds Great After three trips in five years during which we saw every inch of the island, including nature and civilization, we bought our timeshare in St. Martin. It's not that we didn't enjoy our time on Aruba, but we didn't feel the need to return. After you've been to the Natural Pool five or six times and snorkeled in pretty average conditions, you've seen it. We may swap our week for Aruba sometime, but nothing is really drawing us back.
Aruba vs. St Martin We have also been to St Martin - and the Dutch/French division of the island makes for an interesting dynamic. We found, however, the beaches on Aruba superior and the range of restaurants impressive in quality and variety. We would, however, happily return to St Martin!
Gulf coast Enjoyed your notes on the coast especially since we intend to meet friends in New Orleans next May to begin a trek west through Texas, NM, etc. to San Fran.
Gnaou Music Festival in Essaouria A bit of advice for the Gnaou Music Festival in Essaouria: there is no need to purchase a ticket. The main events are at outdoor venues for which there is free access.
We are a married couple in our fifties who are in the process of adapting to the nomadic lifestyle. We are TEVAN: Travelers, Explorers, Vagabonds, Adventurers, Nomads. We have been on the move since March 2013 - France and Italy; North East USA; LA to Florida by RV; South America from Medellin, Colombia to Buenos Aires, Argentina by bus. We had a brief respite in Ireland before continuing the trip of our lifetime and our 25th Anniversary Tour! Our most recent adventure was a month-long drive around Puglia in Italy.
